• (2023-11-12) Edina Menje: Different behavior in Firefox v. Chrome. In FF when in locked tab when I mistakenly click a link from the bookmarks bar the link opens in a new tab (the behavior I want to have with the locked tab). In Chrome it will open the bookmark link in the locked tab which annoys me to no end, since the FF behavior is why I wanted a tab locking extension in the first place. At the moment I'm using both browsers almost equally while I decide which browser to stick with in future and would like locked tabs to act the same in both. Any way you can fix this with an update?

• (2022-08-26) François Charron: Very interesting extension who resolve some problem BUT the loc/pin statue is reset when we stop and restart the browser. In my case I setup it to restart with previous page but the loc disappear on reboot.

I regularly visit a few pages (the New York Times is one) that don't take you back to the same point on the page when you follow a link and then return. This extension lets me view the linked page in a new tab and then pick up where I left off on the original one, without any extra clicks or keyboard shortcuts. Just one problem: When I've locked a tab, and I click a link, Chrome opens up TWO identical new tabs for that link. I can't figure out why, or how to stop it. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's annoying.

• (2018-07-02) Steve Robbins: It doesn't work when clicking on the names on YouTube. Always opens on the same page. It's close, but no cigar. Would appreciate updates to handle these issues. I want to be able to click on any link without wiping out the 300 word post I'm almost finished with.

Please allow middle click to open in current tab instead so don't have to disable to do. 2. Refresh causes tab to loose Locking (even ignoring auto-lock regex rule) 3. Auto-lock Regex Rules seem broken and non-intuitive, have to have .*twitter.com.* to work, when should match substring (eg. URL contains pattern) by default. Even https?://twitter\.com/.* fails for some reason. 4. Please show locking in tab (eg. color if possible, otherwise "🔒" prefix in tab title).

Unfortunately when chrome is closed or page in tab is reloaded (what is exactly what happens when chrome is reopened), the lock is released and I have to lock every pinned tab again! What use would I have of pinned tabs when the sites cannot be refreshed??
