• (2021-12-12) Sandbox Engine: Really awesome extension, just what I was looking for, I would really like if there was an option to adjust the quality of the preview gif, in my case I have a large screen and the previews look blurry sometimes to the point where you cant see anything on the video, I have a pretty good internet connection so I think its the extension that has a default quality setting that is low so it loads faster which I would love if I could change.

• (2017-10-22) Guo Liang Oon: best of its kind among most i have tried on the chrome store goods - adjustable preview speed - previews the whole video - hovering mouse over slider lets you seek across preview frames gripes - it doesn't start previewing immediately on hover, but waits until it loads all the preview frames; usually not too long, but sometimes also fails - seek bar is too narrow and it's easy to hover out of it and so it begins preview-playing again

It needs either the option to disable gif looping so you know when the video ends, or a small seek bar so you can relate the images with the actual timeline. Or maybe you could scroll the gif with the horizontal position of the cursor over the thumbnail. Edit: Best dev ever! Thank YOU!

• (2016-05-28) Daneyal Saraf: Works as advertised, only thing missing is settings. Other rating/video preview extensions have settings that this should have, these include changing the height of the ratings bar and changing how many frames the "gif" preview should have, rather than just speed of those frames.
