How many times have you gone to a video only to discover that it's a total waste? Ratings Preview for YouTube™ allows you to take those few seconds of life you would have lost.
Throughout all youtube.com, this extension shows a bar of likes and dislikes under every video snapshot, just like the official one. In this way, you can view the rating of the videos before watching the actual video, so that you can avoid garbage and spot amazing ones.

- (2020-06-25) malinko35: *Edit: Used to work for all videos but now only seems to do it for videos that have been visited once before. No longer that useful. It works. I'm using this since a popular alternative changed ownership and stopped working and won't work again. This seems to be a very good alternative although there's no customization options and there's a slight stutter when scrolling down but it's very minor. Great extension.

- (2018-07-07) owon: Not as much customization/polish as the Ratings Preview extension that just broke. 4 stars compared to that one, but I'm giving this 5 stars because granting permissions is localized to Youtube pages rather than the typical "Let this extension do whatever the hell it wants?" agreement.
