  • (2017-11-22) Andrew Novak: Doesn't highlight all the words I typed, even when comma separated, with or without spaces. It has the right idea, but fails to the point of uselessness. Needs continual refreshing to catch selected words, and does not support color differentiation.
  • (2017-11-12) Ibrahim Raouf: It is very helpful application. Many thanks for sharing.
  • (2017-10-10) Samuel Bignell: It's not automatic and freezes my browser.
  • (2017-08-11) Dmitry Reshitko: On the whole internet only this addon can do such obvious and simple task: find & highlight words on the current page. Standard Ctrl+F search is useless because we need to repeat it again and again for every next page
  • (2017-08-02) sandaofu Baieoma: How wonderful it is ! Thank you!
  • (2017-08-01) Ethan Zhong: The extension couldn't handle my 300+ keywords, basically I cannot open any web pages after I installed this. But "Multi-highlight" is fine.
  • (2017-05-11) Thomas Gallagher: I needed an app exactly like this. Works as advertised.
  • (2017-03-07) Samantha: Does exactly what I wanted it to. No more reading real estate agent walls of text to see if a place has aircon. Thanks Matthias!

  • (2016-09-07) Baraa Al-Assah: hope make it auto!
  • (2016-08-25) Raj1j3b: Sometimes it doesn't work if you don't capitalize the first letter of the term(s) your looking for. Otherwise it does what it claims!
  • (2016-07-30) Mox Fulder: элементарное и действенное. Не 5 за то, что не разным цветом, нет хоткея
  • (2016-05-23) luis alexander vado martinez: De todas las extensiones para subrayar que he instalado esta ha sido la mejor por mucho 5 estrellas se las ganarón
  • (2016-04-25) Eivind Hagen: It's not AUTOMATIC... I have to press the highlighter icon on each page for it to work. I'd like an option to highlight immediately after a page loads. I'm primarily using this with GMail, so I can quickly find the keywords that are the most important to me. I'm not suspecting that the extension doesn't highlight AJAX-type updates to the page. Is that something that can be added?
  • (2016-02-08) Chris 'Security' Norris: Use this every day to highlight text and numbers in a web-based app. Very useful.

I was using Automatic Keyword Highlighter and realized that I couldn't copy and paste the words into the keywords field. I was just wondering if you were looking to make this feature available any time soon. Thanks, Nicole Williams
  • (2018-11-20, v:0.1.0) Richard Yoo: Enable/Disable Per Page Option?
Can you provide an option to enable/disable on a per-page basis? I am finding that having it enabled causes some of the pages i frequent to crash or hang forever.
  • (2018-06-19, v:0.1.0) Michael Hartl: hiding text rather then highlight
Text is hidden and not narked switch (content_script_state.config.recordClickType) { Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'recordClickType' of undefined
  • (2017-05-11, v:0.1.0) Thomas Gallagher: Phrases with spaces
Is it possible to search for a phrase with a space. I tried with " " and it didn't work. For example, searching for "New York". Still a useful extension though! 5 star review!

I want to highlight some words green and some words red. Please fix
  • (2017-01-27, v:0.1.0) Stefan Peter Wolf: restrict to sites/domains
I use it for specific tasks that search for words that are rare on the site I'm interested in but quite common elsewhere, so I get a lot of "color" on websites do not really want to be highlited. A global filter would be of help, a perfect solution would allow to define multiple rules where each rule has a keyword list, an individual color an otional list of "search only these domains" and an optional list of "exclude these domains" where the last two options also allow wildcards
  • (2016-04-04, v:0.1.0) Krzysztof Robak: on/off button
Would it be possible to add easily accessible on/off option to easily change the status of add-on?
  • (2016-02-08, v:0.1.0) Chris 'Security' Norris: multiple colors
Would be great to have the option to have text with different colors.
