Open links in a new tab on demand
Newtab is a simple extension that allows you to toggle between opening all links in new tabs or defaulting to the link's individual behavior. This app was developed to ameliorate a problem that I frequently had; when doing research or in cases in which I'd like to open a large number of tabs quickly, then come back to them later (for instance, reading Hacker News), I'd have to hold down the Cmd key while clicking through upwards of ten links. Newtab solves this by allowing you to toggle always opening in a new tab with a single keyboard shortcut. (Cmd+Shift+D).

- (2016-07-24) Holly Letson: This works decently at times. But, it does have glitches. One is where it does sometimes open up 4-6 copies of your new tab. Also, it won't let you go through the pages of "also bought" items at Amazon, as everytime you click the arrow to go to next page, this extension makes a new copy of the same page show up as a new tab, where you cannot advance unless you disable it.
