How it works

➜ Extension downloads all discovered images and creates a zip file

Extension needs permission to access URLs to be able to download images directly on your device. This gives user privacy knowing their activities are not visible to developer. Review permissions disclaimer below to understand why specific permissions are requested.

Actual images are hosted over various domains. This permission is needed to enable CORS to fetch image data directly on user's device in javascript. The request is direct from user's device to server hosting the image (no proxies or other servers are being used). This permission is the minimal permission needed to accomplish this core extension functionality.

One important thing to note is that you need to specify a minimum image size to avoid downloading small icons and low-quality images. - (2024-01-22) ba boo: Works perfectly for me. But default is skipping smaller than 64x64, and I have forgotten to set it to 1x1 in the option. So that I have missed the Xmas and Happy New Year special icons which are time limited. In fact, most of the small icons are 32x32, 48x48 and 60x60 and 64x64, if the default image size smaller than 64x64 will not be download is too strict. Of course this is my fault of forgotten to set it to 1x1 before use for more than 2 months.

- (2023-12-28) Ayberk Kole: Works for me. But why do you limit the minimum pixel size to 500? There are 5 to 10 versions of the same image with different sizes on the website I tested. With 500px limit cap, I have to seek and delete low-res versions and it is really annoying.
