Did absolutely nothing
It would seem there's a lot of fake reviews that say this works, but it does not. The suggestions others give, when they say it does work, are not applicable, they tell you to select options which don't exist. Not only does this not work in the least bit. But they actively have bots giving it positive reviews.
Thanks to reviews got it to work. Don't understand the need to add activation button in the extension when i could just turn it off in chrome settings if i wanted to, but it does indeed work.
You have to activate it after you install it. Works great.

For the people struggling to get this extension to work. You need to enable the 'hide the "shorts" tab', and the 'hide shorts video' settings, then click the red power button so it turns green. It works a charm for me! No more shorts!

Thank you so so much! The way shorts repeat drives me absolutely up the wall and this fixed that so easily and simply. For those saying it doesn't work, try actually turning on the extension after installing it. It doesn't enable by default.

Really good extension to block these annoying shorts from YouTube. Easy to use and better than the other ones I have tried.

Nice extension ! But since 2 or 3 weeks. the extension still hide "Shorts" Tab, but Shorts are always visibles on home page and recommandations.

cloetabs, reloaded them, opened new videos to check. shorts still there. maybe i'm doing something wrong but nothing's happened
