- Thank you so much for such a great product! Please keep supporting and developing it. I switched to this extension after 10 years of using FVD Speed Dial, which really drove me crazy with constant sync issues. Once, I even lost my entire collection of bookmarks simply because it decided to overwrite the information on the server. Your extension is much more flexible, and I especially appreciate the option to migrate settings from other services. That’s a really great feature! Wishing you all the best and continued success!

- I love Group speed Dial and recommended to everyone. Great job, excellent product. It has been the best for me, I don't care what everybody else is saing about it. two question I have: 1- how I know if I am using the latest and greatest version? 2-I usually export its config from windows 11 at work and import it to my MAC Studio every once a while. I am not sure how I Can check the date of the imported config.

- Its not bad, but definitely not the best. Its the closest I can come to FVD's version of Speed Dial with a bit of quirks I'll just have to get used to. I used FVD Speed Dial for over 10+ years and in the end they went with a scam variation instead of a normal paid option. So I jumped ship and here I am trying something new, but familiar but not quite the same.

- I would not say its the best because I only installed it two days ago and immediately I noticed today that this version of yours seems to also dock our bookmarks bar but without asking permission to do so. FVD Speed Dial is still my go to but lately the author has taken to hijacking our dials and changing them into sponsored ones. I would not mind so much if they offered a paid version. But they went with ads and sponsored links instead. The fact that FVD also added our bookmarks bar, but they asked for permission, tells me it could be a new Chrome protocol for Speed Dials to have. Its kind of pointless to have a visual bookmark system only to dock our bookmarks bar with no way to undock it. Please explain why this has happened?

- Very mature chrome, free version provides a lot of useful functionality without the need for pro. Suggestions for future versions: 1. Be able to add a search icon to the groups bar for quick access 2. Add global feature to automatically sort all groups by choice instead of sorting each group manually 3. Global function to set all groups to list instead of changing each group manually 4. Easy way to move dials to another group 5. Different options for Pro payment. Monthly, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 year, 5 years, onetime lifetime 6. Ability to create multi groups ( not folders ) on the same page Example: if i click on a group called Locations I would see all three groups on the same page with their dials Group 1 - EMEA Dial 1 Dial 2 Dial 3 Blank Row Group 2 - APAC Dial 1 Dial 2 Dial 3 Blank Row Group 2 - US Dial 1 Dial 2 Dial 3

- Wanted to say that out of all the speed dials i have tried over the years and i have easily looked at and tryed 100 or more, this "GROUP SPEED DIAL" is the very best out of all of them in every area. Syncs Perfectly between PCs, been using it for a few weeks now and havent had 1 ISSUE at all. Very Good Extension, I would recommend anyone to try it out and see for Yourself. The Developer obviously cares about the product and it shows. Anyone that thinks these things are easy to build or code or and maintain, they are not. Coding is not easy to learn. One of the hardest things Ive ever learned. And this has alot of Detail in it with lots of settings, and settings are not just hey lets type a line of code and this will work. You have to do several things to make settings work and also that maybe that varies between languages. Im speaking from C++ perspective lol. Anyways Great extension, if you got some change lying around -> throw it to him, he seems like a very solid mofo. Peace!

- Injects affiliate links into copied text. After installing this extension, copying text from web pages silently appended advertising/affiliate URLs to my clipboard. This behavior stopped immediately after removing the extension. This is not disclosed clearly and is unacceptable for a start page / speed dial tool. Users should be aware.

- Great extension! Unfortunately, it keeps on 'forgetting' permissions so auto backups no longer work unless done manually. Also, the larger import/export file that contains thumbnails is no longer compatible with the extension. It does not appear on the Windows Explorer upload pop-up.

- Works great for the most part, but it keeps turning itself off / disappearing from the quick bar and I have to keep re-enabling it ever time I start up the computer again. Also sometimes deletes the preview image.

- It's hard to think what life would be like, if this plugin and plugin creator (thanks Juraj) didn't exist. To say it has completely changed my workflow, and productivity would be a monumental understatement. What I can remember is this: Bookmarks. Bookmarks everywhere, and yet NOWHERE. Finding things you NEED - QUICKLY is one of the fundamental skills of working in IT/Security, and there is NO good default system in any browser to manage 100+ tools, 200+ reference sites, and help keep things organized. Now? Bookmarks? ZERO. Ability to access EVERY TOOL within SECONDS using Group Speed Dial? EASY & DONE. But beyond the amazing features and functionality (a list that keeps growing and becoming ever more security focused) I have to express how awesome it is to work with a developer like Juraj. I've brought up numerous small requests/concepts/and even what I thought were bugs, and he has taken the time to add features, discuss ideas, and listen to feedback. This is my #1 favorite plugin of all time, year after year.

- Coming from FVD Speed Dial, i must say this is a vast improvement. The part of gathering screenshots for dial pics is a bit disturbing but i understand the process. This is more dynamic and has far more options about the visuals and how the page operates. I read a few early reviews and i hope that the program cleans up after it's self now rather than leaving those directories just sitting there. I'm not quite the 'anal' reviewer some are about those kinds of things but i do like a clean file structure. My future views on this will be balanced on time, new implements (hopefully all with a on/off option) and how well the coder listens and interacts with the people putting down feedback. What i think everyone should understand is this young man has a life 'outside' of this program so he can't spend every waking minute coding to make all of us happy so some things, especially the harder-to-code requests will take time. Some might be impossibile, so be fair about your feedback to him and his program. I left FVD because it was falling apart a piece at a time and it was wanting us to pay them for it having little to no real support. Hence, i'm here, trying his creation and, so far it's pretty good. Let's all sit back, calmly make suggestions, and "see" how it goes and not give in to our darker urges of tearing him apart because he doesn't jump every time we want him to. Now, i'm not talking about anyone in particular, i'm just saying (without really saying) that those who are offended by my suggestion....i'm probably talking to you. Those who shrug and are adult enough to go on about their day, i'm not talking to them. Wrapping up, this project is off to a good start....let's see where it goes.

- Why in heavens name is this extension writing to my c:\program files sub-directory everytime its used either in chrome, vivaldi, or brave ??? NOT COOL ! Here is just one folder example, along with the other 400 PLUS folders it created. I'm glad I caught this before it grew to a serious monster size for sure. Example; Folder Names = chorme_url_fetcher_6654_778866444. Basically everytime you click on a speed dial thats been created this is automatically being created on its own. You need to re-vamp this. Clouding up someones hard drive with empty folders or not, is in no way acceptable, especially without permissions period ! Sad, this had potential for sure. But I will be removing it .

- Left FVD Speed dial cause it was bloatware at this point. I wish i found out about this sooner. Is there a way to make the dials not see through? I have some dials like youtube that has the play button in the middle but it doesnt fill the whole dial so you can see part of the background image which sometimes is a issue which can blend the colors to the icon because my wallpaper changes daily. is there a way to fill the background of the dial to a solid color so the dials are not see through?

- I just came from a nightmare with FVD Speed dial, up until 2 years ago it was ok, average is the highest I will give it. I have been waiting a life time for someone to develop one with a lot of options. Thank You so so much, so far so good. My biggest complaint and will always be, is the FACT one day all your speed dials would be there, and then the next POOF, all your speed dials would be GONE ! I was like after the 4th time this month, he's lucky I can't reach through the screen right now. In closing, when I get a chance I Will buy you a few cups of coffee for sure, and again thanks for this, this looks GREAT !

- I used this extension in Vivaldi. In the last few days, the extension stopped working properly. After opening a new tab, an error with chrome (with a bird) appears. You have to click "refresh" 4/5 times, only then the extension appears. Reinstalling the extension did not help. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'll have to change the extension.

- My initial usage for about 2 weeks is that it does everything I need it to. I came from FVD and even though I used it for years there were minor annoyances every so often with it. I put up with it's clunky interface because it worked well, or so I thought. It turns out it was probably one of the main extensions that caused tabs to crash in my browser(Vivaldi, which is what I moved to when Firefox killed FVD). There were even times where, whether through extension error or human "error," my dials would get reset(This last time I deleted storage data for extensions trying to fix a website not loading.) But without an easy unified one file backup(You either needed to copy some code that didn't get every setting, or use another extension to upload to a cloud), it would have been tedious to recover things so I decided to just try something else and I landed on your extension. I find this has a vastly superior interface and offers a lot more customization(like being able to easily give background colors to individual dials. And the "Export all" button works great to save pretty much everything(mainly my thumbnails) and transfer it between different browsers(I may use cloud one day but I really just want an easy offline backup option which this does wonderfully.) One question I have though is does the extension create a cache of the thumbnails as individual files somewhere on the hard drive? At one time I managed to find FVD's cache and it pretty much had small ".png" files with every thumbnail image I used, whether the original was via file or URL. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my setup now(275 dials took a while).

- Why developers still think using Ctrl+Alt for shortcuts is a good idea. AltGr (Ctrl+Alt) is used on Polish systems to input diacritics! The options menu hotkey Ctrl+Alt+O clashes with input for ó on Polish keyboard layout. And there is no way to disable it! Are you serious? I was using it for some time now, but not anymore since it makes my experience unusable.

- Worked great for years, now nothing (except for "Uncaught TypeError: Promise.withResolvers is not a function".) Everything's gone. I'm not tech-savvy in a lot of ways, so I doubt I can fix this. I think I need to remove this extension, find an alternative in the Chrome store and set up every single dial all over again. Edit: Thanks very much, Juraj. Everything's back to as it should be.

- After the update on 17/02/2025 stopped working on older versions of the Chrome browser (for example, in 109.0.5414.120). Update (21/02/2025): Thanks, Juraj! After the release of version 27.1, everything works correctly again in older versions of Chrome browser.

- It's obvious to me. Google, Microsoft and others... are playing the same tune. They are forcing us all to switch to a new OS. I wonder why? Are they worried about our security? Or do they have other plans? They will deliberately drag it out and create compatibility issues to play on our nerves.

- I've seen your update status on Github, maybe you could "limtied new extension version on newer chrome version". (e.g. group speed dial 27.0 only applied on chrome 120+) Chrome always wants to auto update chrome itself and extension for security reason. I have tried lots of trick (e.g. edit dns host ip, windows regedit...) to stop extension auto update but failed. Finally, I install old version of chrome to avoid update some other extension but still hit black screen of group speed dial, sad...

Please be patient." "My one computer is WIN7 and I've been using the extension for a long time. A good extension but the recent update broke on WIN 7. It doesn't work on Edge or Chrome. Sad. More and more I am moving to Linux. Heck my government has WIN XP computers in their defense systems. I'm getting tired of chasing after the latest and greatest. :( There are a lot, a lot and a lot of people using WIN 7 and as for security, I've been using Computers since my Commodore 64 and I have never been hit. Why? Because I don't lurke in bad places and I watch where I go. So I am forced to constantly jump through hoops because of someone who visits porn sites and other dark places? Ugh!
