Please add setting to preserve tab groups from closing

I do a lot of scientific research. This is a great extension for closing multiple tabs and setting customized defaults for the keyboard shortcuts. Simple but extremely easy to use, totally free of cost and ads. Definitely a 'must have' extension. Extremely valuable in productivity as you search the internet for the information you need.

incredibly useful if you need to close every tab in all windows. Especially useful paired with session managers such as session buddy as it allows you to close and switch sessions very easily.

Doesn't respect saved tab groups. It closes everything and erases all saved tab groups.

Very useful! Does exactly what you'd think and with more options than I was expecting. So many options that now I wish it had a "Close all tabs except the first tab" option -- which I would use a lot, if it's possible. (You can select the first tab and then use the extension to close all the others, but this would save an annoying step.)

Thank you for this, I use another extension that opens pinned tabs to check them for changes (distill.io) and I have a script that restarts the browser from time to time to keep it running smooth. But those pinned tabs would sometimes still be open when the browser was forced to restart, and quickly begin to accumulate. This allows me to be rid of all of them quickly. An interval timer would be handy for my use case, but I managed to cobble together a script that makes use of the keyboard shortcut you provided.

Thanks a lot for sharing your great work! I have a small suggestion: One should be able to configure that Close All Tabs asks if the function should be executed when the presses the keyboard shortcut (Alt + w).

I like it, but if it had an option to close all tabs in the current window except the current tab (and not in whole Chrome), it would be perfect

No use for me as I use groups and there's no option for tabs in them. Perhaps if this was added it would be perfect.

Just installed this and it seems to be perfect for my use case - giving me a button and a shortcut for closing all tabs and closing Chrome.

Nice, Could add option that close all in current window tab except current tab and DO NOT close other windwos tab. current close all tab except current tab will close other window like Web-APP for example

Use it a lot because it has the option to close Pinned Tabs too. Would like the option to close just the tabs to the right, but overall, it is very useful. Thank you.

Hi. I love this extension. I wish we can close all tabs and go to pinned tabs instead of opening a new tab. Hopefully this will be included in a future update. Thanks a lot!

The shortcut alt-w works but the icon doesn't show up on the toolbar. EDIT: Silly me, I didn't remember to pin it to the toolbar. (Click on the little Rorschach test looking icon and click the pushpin symbol for the extension.)

Me gusto porque cierra todas las pestanas excepto las que son de ventana y que era lo que buscaba. Utilizo Spotify Web Player en una de ventana y queria que cuando se cerraran todos los tabs no cerrara la de ventana y bien, no lo hace. La mayoria de las demas extensiones en Chrome se llevan todo, esta tiene configuraciones personales. Bien por el desarrollador. Nota: Solo me gustaria que el icon sea un poquito mas grande en el toolbar para apreciarlo mejor.

Awesome! Clean options interface, easy to use. Although it would be much more useful in my case if there was an option "Close all tabs only in current window, except the current tab". If you'll have time, please consider adding it. Anyway, great extension!

Hi, really like your extension. Basic functionality that is not provided by the small indie company Google by default... I have a favor to ask: Can you please add an option that first opens new tab before closing all others? Because right now most of the times I want to just close all the tabs without closing chrome, so I use combinations Ctrl + T, and then Alt+M. But it would be really nice if I can just press Alt+T

Add "currentWindow": true to query please. It is pointless if it closes other windows too. I edited mine, but it would be nice to have this feature.

After learning they removed the 'Close Other Tabs' option in the tabs context menu, I had to look for an alternative. This extension surely brings it back, and also protects your pinned tabs by default.

I love this extension, but it is kind of broken on Yandex Browser, I know it's not chrome but it's chromium-based, do you think you could look into why? It seems to miss some random tabs, and there is no correlation between closed websites. (Also I never pin websites so not the problem.)
