Il tracciamento tramite pixel spia è una tecnica subdola che si basa sull'aggiunta di un'immagine invisibile di 1x1 pixel, chiamata "pixel di tracciamento", a un'email. Quando apri l'email, questo pixel invia informazioni al mittente, rivelando dettagli come il momento in cui l'hai aperta, dove ti trovavi e quale dispositivo hai usato. Tutto ciò avviene senza il tuo consenso o la tua consapevolezza, rappresentando un serio problema per la tua privacy.
Gblock rileva e blocca i pixel di tracciamento, offrendo una protezione completa contro questo tipo di tracciamento.
✔️ PROTEZIONE CONTRO I LINK DI TRACCIAMENTO
Il tracciamento dei link consiste nell'aggiungere parametri di tracciamento personalizzati agli URL, come "?utm_source=newsletter", o nell'incorporare codici di tracciamento univoci. Alcuni strumenti di email marketing vanno oltre, utilizzando accorciatori di URL per nascondere la destinazione finale, rendendo impossibile rimuovere i parametri di tracciamento. Come i pixel spia, i link di tracciamento possono rivelare la tua posizione, i dettagli del dispositivo e altre informazioni personali.
Gblock ti protegge dai link di tracciamento in due modi: Rimuovendo tutti i parametri di tracciamento conosciuti dagli URL e utilizzando il nostro server proxy per seguire i link delle email, mascherando il tuo indirizzo IP e anonimizzando completamente la tua attività. Il nostro proxy memorizza anche le risposte in cache, quindi, se un link di tracciamento è condiviso tra più utenti, conosciamo già la destinazione finale e possiamo servirla direttamente senza accedere al link di tracciamento. - A different extension I used to block pixel code in the past (PixelBlock) no longer works after the chome manifest V3 update, but Gblock does and it's even better! I was a bit surprised by the low number of users and ratings so (with the help of a little AI) I went over all of the code that goes into this extension, it fully checks out! I was a bit concerned by the proxy that receives URLs that you click on in emails (that is used to prevent tracking), so I contacted the developer and the next day there was a profile setting to turn it off (I only turned it off for my work account as it is a good feature to keep on). Great develper, great extension, highly reccomend! Out of curiocity I also checked the code of the other extension I used to use and Gblock does a better job, less chance of it missing trackers.
