Description from store This extension can filter the Facebook news feed, Google News, Reddit, Twitter, Youtube results, Youtube comments, Google Search results, the Amazon store, Craigslist... and everything else, all from one centralized command center. Just click on the icon next to the address bar to set up your blacklisted words. Filter out topics you don't want to hear about, clickbait tropes, and spam all in one go, with configurable options for changing how the extension works on different websites. Added in version 1.2.3: - Wildcard matching is now supported. "*" matches any number of non-whitespace characters, and "?" matches exactly one non-whitespace character. Examples: - - "col*r" matches "color" and "colour". - - "gr?y" matches both "gray" and "grey", but not "gravy" since "?" can only match one character. - - "*?coin" matches "bitcoin" and "dogecoin" but not "coin", since "?" requires at least one character. Added in version 1.2.4: - Fixes issue where entire YouTube page is hidden. Added in version 1.3.0: - Fix for YouTube search results - Support for Chinese characters - Performance improvements

(2024-11-05) Charlie Morris: It works. Kinda. I visited a social website, blocked a word, and it took out posts with that word. Great! I opened it again in a new window, visited the website, and it didn't do anything. I then had to manually go to the extension and turn it on and off again to make it work. So... 3/5 stars.

The extension feels very well made, so it would be a shame to see this abandoned, but I can appreciate this may be a side-project where updates are only provided where time exists. All the best.

(2023-02-18) Iva Ivanova: im using this extension mainly for twitter and it is really doing a fantastic job. muting words on twitter doesn't do anything, but this extension helped me completely mute words that annoy me, now it's impossible for me to see tweets that contain those words even if i search for them. it is amazing!!

One really big issue though is that if you refresh a page with filtered images and then click the x before everything loads it can bypass the extension and keep the filtered images. Is there a way this could be fixed because if so this would fix a whole lot of issues i've been going through.

(2022-12-26) Simas Castillo: This extension is an absolute godsend. I'm using it as a custom content filter for my niece instead of relying on overly simple safe search or other similar paid options. I cannot recommend it enough. If you are using it in the same way don't forget to either lock your extensions down or hide them entirely to prevent tampering since there is no password option.
