  • (2025-05-28) pydevfinish: worst
  • (2025-05-13) Michael Swarbrick: This browser extension works fine, but the desktop application that's also required is becoming bloated. Firewall issues also seem to confuse a lot of people, but there are help pages for those who can be bothered to look.
  • (2025-04-29) Zach Eragon: Why do I need to install browser spyware to install desktop spyware? This makes zero sense. Absolute bloat software with way too many permissions. If I didn't have to install this for work, I would never touch it.
  • (2025-04-21) LT Dan: This is a junk ap and do not depend on it for anything, even the help link doesnt work
  • (2025-03-26) Blake Girardot: Wow, what junk software (plugin and required desktop app), multiple folks at our company and none of us have succeeded in installing it and it working successfully.
  • (2025-02-18) Maximilian Jesch: worked great. You need the desktop app as well
  • (2025-02-08) Michael Klaumann: Absolute joke. Every time we have to use Aspera it's a problem, EVERY time.
  • (2024-11-21) Christopher Heckey: DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL THE DESKTOP APP
  • (2024-11-04) Jeremy Cloyd: It sometimes allows me to monitor transfers without having to have the browser active, if you have the desktop app, but it doesn't behave predictably enough to rely on
  • (2024-10-25) drakes89: For everyone that says the extension doesn't work: You also need the DESKTOP APPLICATION!
  • (2024-10-25) David Woolley: Spent the last 2 days trying to receive files from a partner who insists on using Aspera. It just doesn't work.
  • (2024-09-27) Marcus Goh: Doesn't work. I'm surprised IBM releases extensions that don't work.
  • (2024-09-17) James Mielke: On either Chrome or Safari, the extension doesn't want to appear or function or anything. I hate Aspera.
  • (2024-08-11) Алексей: Vip
  • (2024-08-08) Harshit Sharma: Worked perfectly for my usecase.
  • (2024-05-29) Hear Kitty Studios: As long as everyone is up-to-date and in agreement on how their servers work, this product works fine for me. It's not great, but it's better than many other options we've used.
  • (2024-05-07) Joanne Surman: For something thats supposed to save you time uploading multiple files, its surely not fitting the bill. By the time I have uploaded the extension and messed around with working out why its not working (which I haven't done so yet) I could have uploaded all my files and made myself a coffee. So will do that in future and forget all about this!
  • (2024-04-25) Krzysztof Żebrowski: Doesnt work. The moment the transfer is enabled, my internet communication turns off - most likely triggered by some ports being disabled? Super weird. Of course no information how to solve this problem... (MacOS user btw)
  • (2024-04-01) Russell Contreras: See no purpose for this. Terrible program and is such a pain
  • (2024-03-27) Jamie Lang: Just awful and unintuitive. If anything, it has increased the time it takes to acquire digital assets.
  • (2024-03-06) Hexy Arts: Unintuitive and forced solution for doing things that can safely be done from frontend.
  • (2024-02-26) Filipe Nogueira: terrible program
  • (2024-02-22) Bob Scott: clunky messy and obscure
  • (2024-01-19) Ash Salunke: IBM Aspera Connect Extension does not work with Chrome & Incognito window. I tried with Microsoft Edge browser and it worked. Please try Microsoft Edge browser.
  • (2024-01-17) Daniel Cifuentes Guarnizo: This is just not acceptable, making this extension required to download a file!
  • (2023-12-28) sasi kumar: It doesn't open at all. And in the extensions only this logo doesn't have the hyperlink effect. So disappointed.
  • (2023-12-20) Tien Tran Minh: I was forced to be download this package for downloading a file

  • (2023-08-16) Felix Plata: Works sometimes, then bugs out. between inability to "connect" to errors establishing HTTP connection and firewall. I would have changed nothing and still these issues arise with no technical support or clear way to fix it. waste of time and stress

  • (2023-05-18) Gabriel Ninô: It works, but it's too much trouble for just downloading a file. I use it only when my clients for some reason use Aspera when more simple alternatives work just as well.
