  • (2014-08-16) Infinity minus 1 (GurYaad): AJ, Can you please have a look! Its not working with chrome anymore! working with FireFox but not with Chrome.
  • (2014-06-22) It works fine if you follow the instructions and install the plugin first. The xbmc webserver port does not matter. I have a raspberry pi with Openelec and the webserver port 80 running. The port of the playit service is set to 8100 in both systems (the xbmc plugin and the browser plugin) and it just works fine. The default port of 8181 does somehow cause problems.
  • (2014-06-11) J F (Floreum): DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Does nothing, and on top of that gives you ads (that adblocker blocks) Sketchy app, as I never installed it to begin with, it must have been hidden into a piece of a software I installed. It also gives you fake warning pop ups to get you to download some viruses. Proof: http://puu.sh/9pqeU/e7784382b8.png
  • (2014-05-21) Nico Zandberg: Limits the ports to 8100 - 8199 so it is unusable for most
  • (2014-05-10) Peppe Calvo: Ottimo, in attesa di più siti supportati do comunque 5 stelle. good job
  • (2014-03-29) Daniel Murley: What is with the port restriction? Useless until this changes.
  • (2014-03-26) D. Siegfried R.: ^^same issue as above
  • (2014-03-07) Jānis Ritenis: Great addon, but no longer works with Vimeo.
  • (2014-03-06) Rob Mills: Will not connect. I use 8080 as my XBMC port. 6 devices interconnected through that port. Not gonna change em all
  • (2014-02-23) Thomas Herfen: Port settings reqiuire 4 Digits but my XMBC is reachable via Port 80/8080 "Value Range 8100 - 8199."
  • (2014-02-19) Juhani Naskali: Doesn't work, as my XBMC is running on port 8080, and PlayIt only allows for ports 8100-8199. Strange limitation, imho. Also, no options for username/password.
  • (2014-02-03) Emmanuel BOUAZIZ: Why the restriction on the server port number ? This range does not even cover the default 8080 port.
  • (2014-02-01) Clay Berlo: Looks nice, in theory. Can't install the addon in XBMC to make it work -- fail!
  • (2013-12-01) Jovon Fletcher: Awesome addon.
  • (2013-11-19) Sean MacFarlane: No options for User name and Password, so it won't connect. Port number extremely limited and won't allow use of the default port which is terrible of you already have a half dozen other devices set up to use that port.
  • (2013-11-08) Gagan Kopparam: never connects.
  • (2013-11-01) Laurens Kistenkas: Works perfect! If possible, just one request, pause the video on pc when sent to xbmc, that would be great!
  • (2013-09-14) Christoph Duerr: Restriction on port numbers makes it not work with raspberry pi xbmc.
  • (2013-08-20) Navi Sekhon: Great addon!!
  • (2013-07-26) Ripal Patel: This add on is fabulous...
  • (2013-06-05) John Simons: Aj is an amazing developer, this latest version with added soundclound support (thanks mate!) is stable as hell and works like a charm
  • (2013-06-04) Mycroft Hector: This is a great extension for chrome. This is easy to configure and use. I am using the AJ addon in xbmc for a long time. Now this "PlayIt" service is like a cherry on top of the cake. wondering if I can use this to send URLs to my WDTV Live.
  • (2013-05-25) N (NJ): Excellent !!!
  • (2013-05-23) Zach Price: Does exactly what it says. Install this in chrome and the addon in xbmc and send almost any video page directly to xbmc for playback. I've been using it forever from the google code repo and the help and support has always been fantastic
