Just one bug that when I mute the sound and then unmute it, the sound does not come back unless I restart the browser. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. I'm using Google Chrome.

• (2023-01-16) John Osterman: Would be a 5 star review if it had a blacklist instead of a whitelist, since there's just a few websites I need blocked when focusing, and any number of websites I need when doing any sort of researching. It has a nice interface and the ambient sound feature is great, but in its current state it's unfortunately not useable for everyone.

Don't remember why and it wasn't because of Tide. Anyway, just remembered I have this and started to use it again tonight. I LOVE THIS EXTENSION!!!! Perfect!

Pretty UI, decent variety of sounds and I like that I can mute the noise as well and still get the ping when time is up if I need it silent. My only complaints are that there's no way to control the volume, and it'd feel more streamlined if there were a hotkey to open the pop-up rather than having to click on the icon each time.

It would be nice it if could tell from educational reasearch sites and common distracting sites like twitter,instagram,newgrounds,tumblr etc like those school monitoring software so i don't have to put every single website on the whitelist.

My suggestions: - Let me add websites to whitelist from the website block screen when I navigate to a new one. - Add block list in addition to white list.

Combining the timer with white noise so that I don't need to have keep looking for good white-noise videos in youtube, and having to set the timer using an extension or program. So soooooooo good :) congratz!!! I only have 2 big and 1 small requests to make. Bigs: (1) having different ring sounds to personalize; (2) having the option of turning on/off a pop-up notification when the time ends. Small: having the option of not making small pauses (i.e., of not having to set up pauses in case you don't want to). Cheers ;)

• (2022-01-06) Hari Prasath: Almost good. Pros: Simple, clean interface. Just enough options (ocean, rain, forest, etc.) to not get bored by the same kind of white noise every time. Cons: Why does a white noise player need permissions to read and change data of all the sites I visit? (kinda sus. maybe just bad code) When denied permission to read and change data, the extension needs reloading whenever I try opening up the extension on a tab other than the one I started a session from. This is very annoying. The extension for some reason also reads browsing history. Another issue is with how the audio tracks are looped -- there is jarring pause every few minutes when a track ends and restarts. Smooth looping is something that should be a standard in white noise applications. Without that, how is this better than playing a track on VLC or any simple media player?0
