In Chrome you can counteract that by changing chrome://flag 'Force color profile' to sRGB

Incorrect result when page is zoomed in (although screenshot is correct) - I need to be on 100% when using it, so measurements for small pieces of text are skewed by font anti-aliasing :( Hopefully it can be fixed, because other extensions are just rubbish.
