- (2025-06-03) Maurice P: Well, I MUST say (Je suis oblige de dire) that the App works well, the App has been very steadily improving over the past 10 years or so that I've been using it, the App is very very useful for a "set it and forget it" type of mindset, and the App is very very very intuitively friendly. Most of all, and especially, the staff actually answers queries, could not be more accommodating, AND is one of the very few concerns that is NOT constantly, incessantly, forcibly and without respite, driving "free version" users to the paid versions of the App. What a concept!?! It does appear that they are there to let the App speak for itself and that, in itself has caused me to feel that I must send a "contribution", unsolicited. Thank you to the team at Boomerang! - (2025-06-02) Josh Hayes: Absolutely love Boomerang. It's the best way to send something out and forget about it, and then pop it's back in your email box. Oh yeah that person didn't get back to me, I need to try and chase that down. I actually use the free version because I only need between 10-20 month. I'd love to upgrade to the "Personal" version to get a few more messages for a busier month and just to give then money to show my appreciation for this life hack. But I'm not eligible because my gmail address is a custom address, i.e. "not available for Google Apps", and $15 per month for a few more Boomerangs isn't worth it. But still, Boomerang for gmail is fantastic. Send Later is sweet too when working from different time zones, or prepping before a day of hookie. p.s. the only other Gmail feature I find as useful as Boomerang is the UNDO button. It's a gamechanger too. If you haven't heard of it, look it up!

- (2025-06-01) Jason Miller: This really just has saved me - mainly keeping track of who hasn't responded to me (it's core function). The major criticism/issues are: a) If an automated email notice comes back to you, Boomerang interprets that as answered, when it really isn't. So you have to then go in and mark the boomerrang to return REGARDLESS rather than "ONLY IF NO RESPONSE" b) If you boomerang a particular note, ALL notes related to that thread disappear from your inbox. If you keep your inbox threaded with conversations, that's no big deal. But I don't because often I want to preserve one message in a conversation and delete another. But if I preserve two or three messages in a conversation and then I boomerang one of my responses, ALL of the emails from that conversation get removed from my inbox, not just the email I'm responding to. This seems to be a flaw that has caused me to lose important messages before. However, if you are aware of these two caveats, boomerang is the best way to keep track of emails and responses out there. More versatile than gmail's snooze feature.

For example, it's 11:15 pm on Monday night, and I am writing emails that people normally won't see until tomorrow. But if I write "tomorrow" in the email, they'll think I'm talking about Wednesday, but if I write "today" it might confuse people who either also work late at night, or who will pay attention to the header and see that I'm writing on Monday. With Boomerang, problem solved! I scheduled the email to go out in one hour, meaning that everyone will get it at 12:15 am on Tuesday. (And I so I could write "today" without worrying about any potential confusion.) (I have another reason for loving Boomerang. I sometimes am up QUITE LATE, writing emails at 3:30 am or even 5:00 am. I often schedule those emails to go out at 8:00 am. That way I can pretend to be a normal person.)

I work in seggsual health so I worry about if my emails even get opened due to the V words I use A LOT -- now I just track em all! No more worry, I have the data clearly the moment someone opens my email! And I also set reminders so I can follow up with the next email in the sales journey when clients don't respond after x# days! I need to keep customizing but this is a def add to cart (and by cart I mean Chrome browser).
