  • (2020-01-24) Rick Duval: Works great EXCEPT it loses connection to my phone multiple times during the day. Other than that it does exactly what I need and I don't mind paying for it, well worth it. WHEN IT WORKS. Hopefully the connection issue will get fixed. Oh and I wish I could search conversations or at least contacts.
  • (2020-01-18) Staff Lead: I uninstalled. I'm being generous with 3 stars but I'm just a nice person. I appreciate developers effort to make something special though. Several failures but I won't go into it here.
  • (2020-01-10) stevan antic: cool but, app wont notify when sms or fb msg recieved
  • (2019-12-24) Wade Covington: I love the app - but it is much more unreliable than pushbullet which I used for years previously. This app is fine most of the time, but inconveniently, all the sudden, it either will not stay connected or it doesn't send a message (without my knowledge).
  • (2019-10-08) Lisa B: This has worked really well for me! I've also liked the ability to switch from texting to fb messenger. Super helpful for staying in touch with friends and family without looking like I'm on my phone all day at work!
  • (2019-07-03) Benjamin Selzer: Good. Glad you can remove the ugly blue bar at the top. The buttons on the lower right get in the way.
  • (2019-06-14) Brad Cupit: completely meets my needs of being able to text from a computer without having to scan a QR code every time only suggestions: * it'd be nice if the notification stayed up until I acknowledged it * it would be nice to keep it running even after the browser closes (the google hangouts extension does this)
  • (2019-05-01) Виктор Михеев: отличная программа. не хватает счетчики вводимых знаков и начать чат с номера не из записной книжки. а в целом я рад, пользуюсь с удовольствием, жду изменений к улучшению функций
  • (2019-03-16) Duyen Vo: I remembered this app being much simpler without all the unnecessary add-on's. I switched laptops and was re-installing this specific extension, and now I have ads and extra tools that just take up unnecessary window space which I was trying to avoid by downloading the extension. For those of you who just want a pop-out messenger, download this extension: "open as popup": https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-as-popup/ncppfjladdkdaemaghochfikpmghbcpc?hl=en-US and then bookmark/ open up: https://messages.android.com, and boom there ya go - A simple, pop out messenger with no frills :D
  • (2019-03-15) Wil Wells: The only complaint I have about this app is the fact that every time you bring up the emoticon browser, it takes ~10 seconds to load **every time**. Hello, emoticons don't change daily let alone monthly. Use cache and update once a day. Otherwise, I love this extension, and how it runs in it's own window. One suggestion would be to allow it to minimize to the system tray (not task bar)
  • (2019-02-28) غرمان الشهري: سيئ للغاية عند انفصال الواي فاي يكون انقطع الاتصال بين الحاسب والجوال
  • (2019-02-21) Robert Newmark: When it is working properly 40% of the time it is very good. It is the 60% when it loses a connection and when you refresh it loses the message you were trying to send (I now copy the message before doing a refresh). If I could find another non-gmail product I would drop this one in a heartbeat.
  • (2019-01-22) Mario Garcia: Apparently, I am not the only one? I constantly have to reconnect and find myself going back to my phone because either A) I am not sure if this app actually has the latest messages, or B) I realized that app is no longer working and have to use my phone. I actually like this app and the features that are available. Especially the addition of the .gifs ... that was a big deal for me. But coming from Google Hangouts to Android Messages, all the while on a Google Pixel, it should allow me to use this seamlessly. I work in a place that I can use all the apps I want on my computer, but am severely limited to use my phone. Hangouts was completely reliable on my computer... should I switch back? Editing to add that for the past 40 minutes, I have had the revolving, blue spinner... plaguing this app, mocking me like a devious face that I can't see. I have tried the refresh button, Logging Out and back in, restarting the app, removing and re-adding the app, opening the program via Chrome Browser (up to date, btw), Closing the Chrome Browser and repeating these steps, and even going to the extent of restarting the whole computer. One Step further... I have tried the above mentioned steps at different times over the past few months with my work computer (Windows 10), my surface pro 3 (Windows 8.1 or something), and my Samsung computer (Windows 10). The max amount of time that I have seen it spin to win is a total of 3 hours. I think that I may have answered my own question (sorry for the rant)... must be time to switch back to hangouts. I will switch back by Feb 1st if there is no answer by Oinkandstuff, or if there is no change in reliability.
  • (2019-01-17) Ian Henne: Easy to use and does not glitch like other messaging platforms.

  • (2018-12-19) Malcolm H: Review of extension app on Pixelbook Crhome OS: It sort of works...sometimes. It's mostly very frustrating as it is highly unreliable. It continually has to reconnect and, when doing so, is completely useless and, often, does't reconnect and just dies and can not reconnect. Absolutely frustrating. I'm going to look at Apple products for the first time ever. This severe lack of software optimization is awful and intolerable really, especially when the PIxelbook costs as much as it does.
  • (2018-12-06) Sam Selfridge: Ads.....hell no. Pushbullet SMS is way better for screen real estate and doesn't try to sell me stuff.
  • (2018-10-03) Stephane Poissant: Should be intergrated to main window or a popup that dissapear on it's own. It is annoying that it opens up another page. Another point: It is not as efficient in terms of speed in comparison to Mighty and others. There is a serious lack on this point. => should be improved in the very near futur. Personally, I am going back to competitor's app. Please keep up the updates and try to come up with something more up to date and les 95's. Thanks
  • (2018-09-19) Curtis Shimamoto: I grabbed this because it was all that was available on the initial release of Android Messages for Web. It really doesn't do much more than open the https://messages.android.com site in a separate window, absent of any window decorations and address bar. But the inclusion of all the other annoying things that had little to nothing in relation to the core functionality is was a bit of a turnoff. The "Premium Features" is pretty useless, and although the dev seems to listen and fix things complained about, which included allowing removal of the additional "toolbars" that this extension added, I still feel that the alternative Android Messages Launcher or other variant that just sticks to letting the webapp speak for itself is probably the better way to go. Sorry dev, you don't seem like a bad person and actually do a pretty great job being responsive to your users... and you filled a need of mine for a time, so thanks.
  • (2018-09-16) Connor Waldo: It's nice that it auto starts, but can you add the option for it to notify me if a new text comes in? Why not just mimic how the notifications, minimization of the Google Hangout's plugin works? If this functioned like that plugin, you guys would be on to something. I'll change my rating to a 5 star once notifications are implemented.
  • (2018-09-08) carl marc: Works like I thought it should. Great app
  • (2018-08-25) Nuclear Donut: Very useful tool.
  • (2018-08-24) Muhammet Akbaş: ne kadar güveni orası tartışılır ama güzel
  • (2018-08-12) Dava Bergeron: This extension was interesting (the toolbar looks like it's from 2003 or so, but it does work). All until it sarted to display what seemed ads that took about half its window containing what seemed like fishing attempts... NO THANK YOU
  • (2018-07-30) Josh Martin: Seems functional, would give 5 stars if the app stayed in the browser when clicking the extension button instead of popping out into its own window. Similar to PushBullet.
  • (2018-07-24) iMobile Toyz: works great, just need to add a message search feature like other messaging extension.
  • (2018-07-15) Crissie Luckey: Takes up way too much monitor space. Disconnects each time my browser shuts down. Such hassle makes it practically useless, so I just use gVoice extension for Chrome that opens right in the same window as your browser tab without need to switch back and forth or reconnect each time you open it for a new session.
  • (2018-07-03) Ryan Merchant: One tidbit for the developer: In chrome extensions, I would like to set a keyboard shortcut to open Android Messages. I currently have it set to alt+s, but I can't make it global because "activate extension" doesn't work with global shortcuts. Maybe look into this so we have a way of clicking one shortcut to activate android messages from anywhere?
  • (2018-07-02) Dan Torrey: Like Android Messages, it's functional but ultimately leaves me unsatisfied. It takes up too much real estate on my destop for the amount of content it delivers. Would benefit from smaller font and less dead space.
