The extension is great. It helps me restrain myself from long sessions of video binge. There's one thing though. Wouldn't it be nice that there can be incentives for visiting certain websites, like news or information website?
Was very excited to try this, but it doesn't seem to be functional anymore. It keeps telling me "Credential error! The extension is currently not updating Habitica!" whenever I open the extension or try to block a new site. Additionally, I wish there was an option to block every site but a list of pre-approved site rather than listing every single site I want to block. My rabbit holes take me to the strangest places on the internet sometimes...
The timer issue that's brought up in other reviews seems to be fixed. I have the timer on 20 minutes. I watch a 20 minute episode and once that's finished, I click the next one. It then asks me to pay more gold. So overall, it works great.
Thanks for making this little useful tool. Is there a github for this project? I wish I could contribute to improve it!
Very handy, but kind of clumsy. Two suggestions: 1. Right now the confirmation popup is triggered by Chrome's auto-complete. I type in anything starting with "F", it auto-populates facebook.com, I get the popup even though I never actually tried to navigate to facebook. 2. Make the default button "cancel" instead of "ok". This prevents accidental spending when you get a popup and hit "enter" (which happens a lot because of the point above, when I search something starting with "f" and hit enter, then lose my coin). Thank you!

i like it conceptually alot, but it really feels incomplete. its so easy to turn off the blocker that i can do it on accident. then it doesn't auto refresh the page when time runs out, this means you can spend hours on youtube and the blocker wont do a thing about it until you hit refresh. i need an extension that will absolutely remove my ability to abuse going on time wasting sights and forces me to earn time back. this is the best i have ever found, but its so easy for me to break it in moments of mental weakness.
Just downloaded it today, and I like it so far. The only feature it could really use is to be able to tell how much time I have left on a page.
Super Addon - Danke!
I love that it helps me control my reddit habits at work. It would be better if there were multiple options per site. For example, 5 minutes costs 10 coins and 15 minutes costs 25 coins. I'd also like to customize the time periods it's active, I don't need sites to be blocked during my lunch break or after core work hours are over.
만족스럽습니다.
I like that it connects with Habitica - But if I'm on youtube and dont leave the site it does not make me have to pay again. I can just keep watching for as long as I want. (Sometimes I might not even notice my times up unless I set a timer.) Some function that would tell me my time is up would be useful.
Awesome, just what I needed!
It doesn't work. It doesn't respond to any blocked pages no mater how much time passes or how much you refresh it. The only working option is account adding page "blocking"
such a fabulous idea. Works great!
This extension is genius! It works great along with Habitica!
Great for breaking bad habits!
