A small extension to disable YouTube video titles/audio/descriptions autotranslation.
YouTube title translation is helpful for beginners, but once you know the language well enough to understand original titles, it quickly becomes frustrating. Even worse, there's no proper way to disable this — unless you change your YouTube country, which messes up your recommendations and trends.

Clear info and step-by-step instructions would save people a lot of confusion 🙏. Thanks! 🙌

Does not work as of 9/27/25. In all fairness I can't get any translate blocker to work at the moment which is why I'm not leaving a poor star rating as either Youtube patched you out or I can't make these work properly.
10/10 i hate ai slop, being bilingual shouldn't be punished

Thank god this exists. I was going crazy with the automatic translation.
I don't want to have German / Dutch titles translated which is why I installed the extension, but Japanese titles I do need translated. So I often translate the whole page on Japanese videos, but this extension doesn't play nice in that case, the video title will flicker between English and Japanese.
Thank you so much for fixing this terrible feature that Google introduced, clearly without understanding how badly it affected the user experience!
