it used to work, but i think YouTube updated recently and broke the extension (or perhaps it has to do with COVID-19 and lowering quality for all viewers)

This add on has worked really well for a long time and all of a sudden today it stopped working. The quality of videos keep automatically change to 240p.

Does not work. In fact I will go as far to say that I doubt this ever worked. It appears that this "developer" just slapped a thing to look like an extension, but nothing is there. If this were a business then you could be sued for false advertising.

Seems to work for me. I set to auto so it automatically plays best (highest quality) for each video I play. At least so far.
