Description from store Fetching is a new kind of bookmarking app and history search. It keeps track of all the web pages you visit so you can easily re-find them later. It's like your own personal Google -- a search engine for all the webpages you've seen. Also available as a native OS X application. Learn more at http://fetching.io Saves Everything -------------------- Fetching saves the full content of the web pages you visit exactly as you see them so you can search on what you remember -- not on what happens to be public. View your cached page copies at any time. Powerful Search -------------------- Sophisticated search ensures you always find what you're looking for, even if you only remember a few keywords. Natural language processing ensures you get results even when you can't be precise. Sophisticated Filters ----------------------- Slice and dice your data like a samurai. Filter your results by domain, time, body, title, notes and tags. Automatic ------------ Fetching is fully automatic via a small browser plug-in that runs in the background. Just like your browser history -- only better. You don't need to do anything to keep track of everything. Complete Privacy Control ----------------------------- Fetching is fully disabled in private and incognito modes and the extension can be turned off at any time. Rich filtering by domain and regular expression lets you blacklist any site. Tags and Notes New ------------------------ Tag like a pro including auto-complete and keep notes on important sites. Easily search and filter on both. Quick and Simple UI ----------------------- Fetching uses reactive technology, responding immediately as you search and add content. A clean user interface gets you quickly to your goal then gets out of the way. Bookmarks ------------- Just like mom used to make. You can bookmark / favorite any site directly from your browser without leaving the page you're reading. Easily filter and search your saved sites later.

  • (2018-09-12) Greg M: I like the idea of Fetching very much. But, fundamentally, I will not do recurring web subscriptions, and would rather pay a one-time small license fee. Many are the apps and plugins I've passed on because they require a recurring subscription fee. Not going to go there, it's not a business model I can support except in very few exceptions, not the norm.

  • (2016-02-15) Salar Zeynali: Seems like a good extension, but you should have mentioned that it's not free in it's description. Wasted my time downloading and creating an account for it, thinking as it's a free service. And when everything was done, a small text appeared in my account, that 31 days is left to end trial. The first thing that come to mind by this type of behavior in marketing, is SCAMMING. If not, why not telling the truth at beginning?
  • (2015-09-09) Ms R: This is awesome. It has already saved me a lot of time looking for articles I had read previously and wanted to review again. I am also starting to use it as a replacement for 3 or 4 different bookmarking apps. If you do any kind of work or research online, I think this is the best thing to come along in years. I highly recommend it.
  • (2015-01-28) Zach Hale: Been using this for a few weeks and it's been handy a few times. Great idea, I'll keep using it!
  • (2015-01-28) Peter Brown: I have to say, though I wrote this myself, I love it!
  • (2015-01-28) Nathan Broadbent: Fetching.io is awesome! I was able to find an article that I read over 3 weeks ago, just by typing in a few keywords that I remembered. I don't think I would have been able to find it otherwise.
  • (2015-01-28) Lon Phillips: I don't use this program much, but when I want to look up something that happened recently, this is the program I use to find it!
  • (2014-11-19) Joshua Hanley: I love it, as I've wanted this functionality for several years now, but the Chrome extension doesn't seem to work right for searching. The search hotstring created by the extension doesn't work. I have to go to the website to actually search my visited pages. I'd love to be able to just type "f <search string>" in the omnibar to search my visited pages. How do I do that?
