Beanote - Note Taking on Web Pages

Favourite chrome extension have been using since 2016, its a shames its no longer supported with the new chrome updates. Cannot find anything to fill in the gap it was left in my workflow. Deeply sadden

useful tools for web note taking and annotation

Handy for amazon shopping. I am looking for something with odd measurements and I can quickly add a note to items I have looked at and eliminated. This helps me avoid clicking on the same items that I have already eliminated.

its a highly useful, productive extension but not having a cloud data saving option makes it highly unreliable, can't use it on multiple devices. one you start using it you're stuck with the data you've put in it, you can't access it anywhere its store offline which makes it good for basic use but not for professional use. It is very risky. I accidently deleted my chrome profile and all the data store on this extension was lost with it, I've lost so much that I hate this extension now. I doubt using it again without auto cloud data saving option

unreliable. it worked on a google search results page. But not on any website page. and going back to the page it worked on, the notes were not remembered. So total waste of time. thanks !

Very good but not worth 5 stars. You can't quickly delete the pages containing the notes.

Love it. This one is easy to use. The note's color is pretty too, but there is an error. My notes were saved but somehow when I got back later, They were all gone. And there is a notice about "Not found where to place the note" so it's kind of disappeared but still there... I would love it more if this one got something like sorting section to section. Not only sorting A to Z or... but different sections.

Great tool if it works. But somehow I keep losing the option to export notes. Can't click on any format (docx,html,enex). Really frustrating after making all the notes on student assignments. It does work when I have only one note but it seems to stop working after I give several notes.

Highlight text in a web page, right click, click 'Beanote - Create sticker note', and nothing happens. I try a different page. No luck. I disable uBlock. No luck.

It used to be my most favorite tool. But it is broken or doesn't work anymore sadly....... (giving five stars because it is best tool but it needs dev's attention now)

Doesn't seem to be working on twitter. i visited a profile, tried to add a note and nothing happens. is it possible to fix it?

it's good, simple and does the job. One thing i'd add is it'd be great if the notes button showed whenever i need to access the website again, instead of having to access the app itself just to see the notes in a list/dashboard, it makes it so confusing this way. it's a huge thing that makes me not want to use the extension. Please make the notes/comments tag icon show up every time i load the page to re-read the notes in the webpage instead of the list on the Beanote app.

I like and think it serves its purpose. Three things I would like to add is: 1) to be able to adjust/transform the size of the post it 2) being more options in what's written in the post it( i.e bolding, italics, etc.). 3) Allow to use the post its on their own without needing to highlight it I just like having as much customization as possible and having this would make it perfect and worthy of 5 stars

This Extension was good when I first downloaded it to use it. Now it is putting notes on pages where there should not be notes. Ex: I am using a management software, in which different people all have different profile matters, which used different web addresses within the same software. I make a note for one, and when I go to someone else's matter page, I see the same note in their matter as well. Not useful to me at this stage, but a good concept and will be fabulous to use once bugs are fixed.

This is amazing! so helpful. But can you please consider adding a feature of adding a hide notes feature where the notes and their icons are no longer visible. So that when I full screen the video it wont be visible anymore. And if you have more time maybe adding the feature to group pages of where notes was placed so I can access whatever I was trying to learn quickly.

You can export annotations on an annotated page basis, but not all annotations at ounce. I'd find this feature reassuring, I'd hate to loose what I've written or to be forever stuck in the extension, in case I want to repurpose my annotations.

Feature Request: Remove the max height limit from the sticky note when resizing it. Or, increase it by at least 5x. Why is it even limited to such a short height? Sometimes when I'm reading a page I like to pull up the sticky note on the side of the body's text & take notes or summarize sections of text. Feature Request: Change text color to inverse of highlighted color. Many times I highlight and cannot see the text. An example of a good implementation of this would be the Chrome extension: "Super Simple Highlighter". Feature Request: As the height of a sticky note is increased there is a proportional amount of space at the bottom of the sticky note that becomes unusable. As in, about 25% of the sticky note becomes unusable wasted space when the sticky note height is increased to max. Why?? I'd like to see this space become usable. If you're still unsure what I mean to test it out: open a sticky note, increase it's height to max, and fill the note with text from top to bottom. (Actually, fill past the bottom).

Very nice and helpful tool. Would be nice to categorize pages/notes and the possibility to delete "outdated" pages within beanote.
