Allows you to add personal notes to your mails/conversations.
** New: Finally we show a red icon when the mail has a note!

You want to add notes to your mails or conversations in order to remember in the future for example which was the conclusion of the conversation, which pending tasks i have related to it or why i starred this mail?
Then this will be useful for you.
How it works:
1. Open a mail/conversation in gmail.
2. Click on the edit notes button on the top right buttons bar (the gray pencil).
3. Enter the notes/commentaries you want for the current selected mail.
4. The notes text is automatically saved when you modify it.
5. You can close the notes popup with a click in the edit button.
To know:
. The notes are stored in the user computer.
. It is fully integrated in the gmail tab.

- Great potential. For me, the note is about 80% transparent. Hard to see. How do you reduce the transparency?

- It will not even show the icon or give any way to post a note in the gmail client.

- For whatever reason, the icon shows up as indicated, but it doesn't accept text (as Lee Wolfe noted) AND it doesn't appear that it actually attaches notes to specific messages (but instead is a note for the whole inbox, which isn't what I was looking for).

- Needs a lot of work. - The icon does not show up with my other extension icons. - It made my Google Apps access icon (to the right of the Google search bar disappear along with other icons beside it. - When I finally discovered a tiny hint of a shadow near my Extension icons and clicked on it, the Notes extension opened, but wouldn't accept any text I tried to enter. Not only does it not work but it messed up other Gmail functionality.

- A simple app but a powerful. - Yes, there should be a indication whether a mail has note or note. - I hope the note shows up the email conversation and not just for an email. - for those complaining not seeing the button, just close your browser and restart it. - It be good to have the note stored in 'Gmail Notes' rather than on local machine.

- Simple and does exactly what it is supposed to do without taking over my inbox. Would be helpful if the icon changed to a different color to indicate there is a note attached to the email.

- Very handy little extension. I'm excited to see if the notes I write at home will appear in my Gmail account on Chrome at the office (or if they are just stored locally). To earn 5 stars, this extension will need a bolder change in appearance than it currently experiences when a note is filed for a particular email and notes will need to be universally available.

- Great extension!!! It would be great if you could add a red/colored pencil when there is a note for the email item. Very handy and useful. Used in combination of tagging with label "To Do" "action" etc, you can add notes to help followup on action

- Vadí mi, že nevidím pri ktorom maile mám napísanú aj poznámku pri celkovom pohľade na všetky maily. Predstavoval som si podobný systém ako má Excel.
