Latest reviews
- Nikki Kray
- I would give it a negative if I could. Not user friendly at ALL.
- Magdy Isaac
- GARBAGE
- A Ben
- Annoying! For some websites, it does not load the fill icon and I have to right click to fill the username and password separately. Works well on Firefox and Edge. This happens in Chrome after every update.
- Alexandru Gologan-Dalimon
- Works beautifully
- James Roberts
- After many hours of troubleshooting I had to give up. The extension refused to connect to the app. Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.4 + Brave.
- Clearer View
- Good, functional extension. Can a way to update the extension, in place, be explored? Not waiting for the Chrome Webstore? KeePassXC's Firefox extension can do that. Of course GC is not FF, but can some 'developer mode' side load be used to achieve that?
- Mark Swan
- @google can we speed up the update process, the bug with autofil that is already fixed based on github issues is still not up :) Great extension btw
- Ken Ado
- autofill isn't working on the latest version. Tried a database reconnect, but it's still the same.
- Khoa Luu Dang
- Latest update broke autofill. P.S. It keeps showing "KeePassXC-Browser has not been configured. Click the connect button to pair with KeePassXC." no matter how I try to hit Connect button. P.P.S. It works now. I had to go to the Connected Databases setting page, remove the existing connection, and click Connect to add a new one.
- Herald

- Swadhin
- Excellent program to save your passwords locally and auto-fill in browser!
- FearlessKnight
- Does this work with Chromium for Ubuntu? It works fine with Chrome. Thanks!
- Andrei Bulgakov
- Works good, you just need to set up it properly.
- Tomoda
- this guy who left a review at 13 sept 2025 called Spiralofhope and said he couldnt get it to work but issnt an idiot...well buddy i got news for you! im an idiot and i managed just fine.
- Kevin
- Brilliant!
- Potato
- W program i really don't get the 3.8 reviews its amazing
- Оксана Буткалюк
- A very cool program, I've been using it for many years. The only drawback is that it's not available for Apple devices.
- Spiralofhope
- Embarrassing garbage that doesn't work. - install extension correctly - configure program correctly - relaunch browser - click icon on password field Database is not connected. I'm looking at the database. It's unlocked. The feature is enabled in the software correctly. I'm not an idiot. I'm not following a troubleshooting guide. I ran an installer and everything is installed and self-configures; that's how software works. But not this software. It doesn't work. Why? I'm not special. Did the devs not try installing it?
- Vijaya sai Nallani
- Awsome!
- Mike Burgener (RedDevil6)
- On my KDE Plasma in Linux, since some time it opens everytime the "filetype association system settings area" when starting google-chrome.
- humankey
- great idea + open source = 5 stars
- Miguel C.
- I love this extension not gonna deny it, I use it like no other, I am happy to give 5 stars, in fact till last update it diserved it! I will give 4 starts after calling the attention of the developpers to try to help me, and ideally 5 if they indeed can help me to solve an issue. It seems this extension is making another extension not to work, the other extension is Checker Plus for Google Calendar (from Jason), I have been using both extensions with no issues on Brave for a long time, but since July, Checker Plus stoped working on Brave when KPXC is working. As long as KPXC is not installed and being used, then CP works smoothly, I contacted the developper on CP and he says is most likely due to updates possibly on KPXC side. If you help, kindly help me to recreate it and find a solution! I used both extensions a lot!, Thank you!
- Augusto Cedeño
- genial
- Carsten Rose
- Work with it for 4 months now, chrome / brave / firefox - I don't understand a rating of 3.8 - it should be 5 stars. Great integration, stable, user friendly UI - what could be better? Good job, well done, thanks to all who develop and maintain it. THANKS
- Josh H
- Works great on Mac OS without installing additional plugins. Thanks
- Odoo Dummy
- works flawless - all the negative reviews seem to have the problem in front of the keyboard
- Aykut Çevik
- Using it together with KeePassXC on desktop, the best password manager for privacy-oriented people. Keep up the great work!
- Alex Lee
- My browser is suddenly warning me that keepassxc wants to change my privacy-related settings. I'm not enabling it again until I'm sure what has changed. Edit: well I guess the github issue addresses the concern for now... but I'll be keeping a keen eye on the repo from now on.
- David Clark
- The Connect button is Chrome no longer works, don't get the popup message
- Alma Ayon
- Steep learning curve, but flawless once it is set up.
- Kelson Vibber
- KeePass lets you keep your own password vault on your own system, or sync using the service of your choice. The browser extension takes a little effort to connect it to your desktop app the first time, but from that point on it mostly does its job and stays out of your way, detecting login forms and adding a button to fill in credentials you've stored with that URL in KeePassXC (When you have the desktop app open and the database unlocked). Note: on Linux, when using this with a browser installed via Flatpak, there are extra hoops to jump through. Native installs on Linux, macOS and Windows are much simpler to get working.
- Jasmohan Singh Narula
- This extension has stopped working. Unable to connect to database.
- Nimesh Poudel
- Works like a charm
- Mecra YAVCIN
- Sometimes it does not recognize second page's fields. If there is only one blank field left in another page, you should select all fields from beginning one by one. Beside this it works well.
- Neil QQ
- Excellent integration with KeePass2 using KeePassNatMsg plugin. Works well with Vivaldi and Chrome.
- Doug Herman
- Browser integration recently failed on Vivaldi and Edge in Windows 11. Reinstalled both KeepassXC and KeepassXC browser. Browser integration worked for one or two signins then failed again. I'm unable to find a fix and the KeepassXC troubleshooting info seems far too complicated. I have KeepassXC 2.7.9. What is the solution?
- Andrei Toderean Dascalu
- Does not work on my Mac (15.1.1 with Chrome 131.0.6778.109) after activating integrations and installing extension on KeePassXC 2.7.9 I go to github's login page and while I have user/pass entries in an open KeePassXC database with the appropriate URL (exactly as loaded on the page), KeePass extension reports that no entries were found.
- Manuel Serrenti
- Perfect integration with KeePassXC and even KeePass 2. Over 2k password without any issue
- Christian Wagner
- Coming from 1Password, it has about 90% of the features, and works well on most sites. Privacy and maintaining control of your own password database offline and synched is the main advantage of KeePassXC over all other services. It does take time to learn, configure and maintain, but it is well worth it. After 10 years I moved from 1Password about 2 years ago and am very happy with it.
- Andreas Weigl
- Love it. Works flawlessly across multiple browsers.
- Stefano Pantaloni
- It works very well! Great extension.
- Arthur Marchand
- Great, seems extremely secure, free to use
- stefan holzhauer
- Does not longer work since Keepass XC 2.7.9: Database connection not possible.
- Joel
- This extension works really well. You just have to carefully follow the installation instructions for your distribution. (Make sure the given file is in the correct directory for your browser)
- dee gian
- Does NOT work with Chrome - Ridiculous
