It's a minimal implementation for the New Tab page redirection.
The main code is only just 7 lines.

It works perfectly in the main browser window. Super-fast redirect which works for local files even with the latest Chrome update (v118). However... it doesn't work under Incognito Mode even with "Allow in Incognito" enabled. And that's mostly what I wanted this for, since the other "New Tab Redirect" extension stopped working. Can't say as I recommend this, as of now.

Funciona. Pero no cumplió con mis necesidades. Necesitaba que al abrir una nueva pestaña me redirigiese a http://www.google.com/ y posicionarme en la barra de búsqueda del sitio. Lastimosamente esta extensión no realiza esa tarea, al abrir una nueva pestaña, me mantiene en la barra de búsqueda del navegador.

Simple and fast (than another top analogue). I have installed it because another extension (mouse gestures) was unable to work on the default new tab page. Now it works with your help

As of today, this is the only one I've found that can focus on URL/address bar after the redirection! Unexpected after Google overloaded security measure over user experience... I don't know for how long it will works, but I'm glad it did!

Works great, very fast. I do hate that it needs permissions to read any website but i think that's needed to enter the URL.

Amazing. Other new tab redirect extensions replace the url in the address bar, this one doesn't which is exactly what I was looking for. This is the perfect solution to remove the most visited websites from the new tab page.

Im Grunde total ausreichend, nur sollte in einer nächsten Version der Cursor nicht mehr aktiv in der geleerten Adresszeile stehen so wie es derzeit (Ver. 1.4) ist. Nervt etwas wenn man eine Suchmaschine eingetragen hat.

This worked smooth and fast for me, but I ended up removing it due to the permissions. There's no reason this extension needs to read and change my data on any website I visit. Update this with absolute minimal permissions and I'll be back with a five star review.

Works great! I can't stand that Google requires us to use it because they can't simply have Chrome do this on its own, but I'm VERY thankful fumito80 created it.
