It was working a few months ago, and it made Wikipedia articles feel very readable. However, as of the date of writing, it does not work. Hope the dev fixes this extension, as it's unique and I can't find this functionality anywhere else.

It works on English Wikipedia. But in some other languages it's not working like Deutsch, Español and Français.

Very cool! I Any chance this can apply to the read: page within Microsoft Edge (Chrome based browser) It's the page accessed via immersive Reader mode in Edge When I enter immersive mode via right clicking the wiki page background, the extension does not remove citations in that page.

Looked everywhere! I use "read a out loud" and it was so annoying to hear to citations every time. Glad that I found this extension

Works in english, but not other languages. recommend changing your regular expression to something like this. <sup.+?cit.+?<\/sup>
