Enhances the Chrome Page not Found Error Page with Whois, NSLookup, Domain Registration, Search, Cache and other utilities links
Error Page Enhanced replaces the default Chrome Error Page when you cannot connect to a URL, with some information about the failure and links to various services to diagnose a problem, or to research, register and develop the domain.
Great for domainers who want quick access to check out available domains, for web developers to diagnose problems and for browsers to get a bit more information about why that website you love isn't working right now.

I was really really looking for a text blurb explaining what each error means, and what the common causes are. I'm a networking guy, and even I find it difficult to remember what all of these mean, when you don't see some of them for 3-4 years at a time. I was sorely dissapointed in the 502 Bad Gateway page. It looks like Netscape Navigator 2.0.
- (2021-10-05) n ascentt: This is a great addon and the only working error page refresh extension still in the chrome web store that works. I do wish there was an option to hide all the buttons/text. I just want an error auto refresh extension for a kiosk browser, but if there's an error instead the kiosk will display the buttons and text leading people to think they have to click things before the refresh takes place. I was going to try to set the retry time to 1second to reduce the time they show instead, but such an option doesn't exist, as the refresh is hard set at 10s. Despite these shortcoming it's the best we have. There used to be a great extension called "autorefresh" but it looks like it got removed from the extension web store.
- (2021-08-17) dan smith: I agree with Roy, I just had this extension kick in on a 500 error page, and I was confused until I figured out what was going on. Unfortunately, I'll be uninstalling.
- (2021-05-21) Roy: Why does it report error Page Not Found (404), while in reality it is error 500? It would be great if you could fix this and also if you put the HTTP error code somewhere.
- (2015-06-12) Gabriel Dibble: it's a great idea but adding the GoDaddy and footer ad is tacky. --- i agree with Andy Calderbank that keeping the URI intact would be best practice.
- (2014-04-02) Chris Manson: Great plugin! Such a good idea that i'm surprised it hasn't been around for ages and everyone knows about it!! Nice, simple and to the point like most of the best apps/plugins are.
- (2014-03-13) Andy Calderbank: Great add on, really handy tools especially if you're trying to find a new domain or any form of DNS admin. Only slight downside it would be nice to keep the URL in the address bar instead of being hijacked by the extension.
