• (2018-05-04) Paul Schmied: If this did what it said, it would be a great aid to me. But it doesn't do it better than the Amazon composite merchant ratings and reviews that indicate the number of reviews and satisfaction level with every merchant's most recent 12 month's sales. ReconBob appears to be a shill for Amazon fulfillment instead of 3rd parties. When it doesn't gives an approved rating to a seller, it is an unreliable indicator. In most cases, a Be Cautious rating means that Amazon is not the fulfiller. Sellers with storefronts,tens of thousands of reviews and +97% ratings are labeled as "Be cautious." In checking out "Be cautious" items I found that there were very few negative reviews, many four or five year old and related to one or two itemns sold by the same seller.

Literally one of the stupidest ideas ever and will probably get their company sued in the end. BUT, it is actually a FANTASTIC tool for SPYING on competitors! Now you can find all their negative feedback easily without having to click through dozens of pages. Thanks, ReconBob!
• (2018-03-13) D J: The issue with this extension is the fact that it is counting issues that Amazon is responsible for, late shipping, item not received, complaining about a price (no one made them buy it, they found it cheaper after their purchase, then return it), etc... Amazon is not counting these against the seller since they had no control over it, so Bob should not count it either. Totally unfair to good seller's who have no way to defend themselves.

There are too many disreputable sellers that manage to bury their negative feedback or get it crossed out if they sell FBA, even if it is not an issue caused by Amazon such as selling fake items or misgrading. There are sellers in the Amazon seller forum whining about this extension but in my opinion if you are a good seller that consistently provides good service, you have no reason to fear ReconBob. It is the sellers that think every buyer is a scammer and that provide horrible service that hate the idea of buyers using this.
• (2018-03-12) Chris Danly: I have been burned before when purchasing items, receiving them only to find they aren't the real product or they expire a day after receiving the item. Those experiences have led me to not use Amazon as I'd worry every purchase would be the same. After learning about ReconBob I find Amazon to be stress-free and have since gone back to using Amazon for most of my online purchasing.

Bob loves Amazon so much that he blames all other sellers for their negative reviews, even if that review was one out of 500,000, happened 10 years ago, and was actually removed by Amazon themselves because it was an FBA mistake AMAZON made. Seriously, what is the point in this -- the description mentions 'authorized sellers' yet in no way does this extension identify authorized vs unauthorized sellers. Hey Bob, why don't you recon yourself and add a 'Be Cautious' flag in the Chrome store since you too are receiving negative reviews (and these are actually legit).

As other reviewers have stated, even sellers with thousands of positive reviews and a handful of negatives show up as "be cautious". Even says "be cautious" for Amazon Warehouse Deals, which is Amazon's open box seller profile. So, you cannot even trust Amazon according to Bob, lol...
• (2018-03-10) Louis Bunya: Sky is falling at it's best. Provides data without context that is useless. Dozens of customers (and competitors) write nasty reviews all the time, most without merit. This tool is pointless.
