• (2024-02-23) Carly curly: EDIT: It's a fair enough program, but it's caused WAY more issue than it's worth. Recently i've been having internet issue and i thought it was because of the fact that i downloaded a new program on there. Long story short, I straight-up couldn't connect to the internet because of a script FABUI had messing up whenever I had an FA tab open. The only way to fix it was to reinstall the plugin, and even then, I still have to deal with all the original issues like descriptions or text messing up. Not a bad program, but not worth the hassle. Pros: -you can preserve quality by disabling FS compression -you can save submission settings for easy consecutive submissions -the format is fairly easy to navigate Cons: -when you make a "url" line, you have to use Ctrl+Shift+V for pasting, or else it doesn't work, and applies a "black" code to it, messing it up -sometimes doesn't upload on the first try, so you have to fidget with it a bit, and the bar system can be deceiving for impatient submitters -it automatically applies the title of the submission file, so if you forget to put a title on the post, you could easily forget you hadn't titled anything on it at all until it shows up in your notifications EDIT: -replaces an entire description with "Uploaded with FABUI" or something randomly -will mess up your browser for almost no reason until reinstalled -if you refresh your browser, it automatically formats your text which locks you out of editing it further, so you have to delete any unfinished lines and redo them.

• (2022-08-21) Jonathan Bauer: This is an absolute essential when using FurAffinity. Cannot recommend this extension enough!
• (2022-07-31) Госнаркоконтроль: Its a good plug-in for FA, but I won't use it anymore untill you remove that 'beeping' sound or allow to turn it off. Its pissing me off.
• (2022-07-31) SuperiX: This been a huge game changer for me :D freaking love this :D I gotta ask you tho, you updated this 30.7.2022 and i would like to know did you add notification beep sounds that inform me someone in FA has posted new pic, commented, faved or writed new journal because last night i started to get lots of different beep sounds and i was in panic that my pc was hacked xD i've struggling with this whole day but when i booted my chrome there hasnt been a sound because i havent activated your app yet so is this new thing? and if it can it be shut down in app options?

• (2021-10-04) Magic Ferret: For now it works fine for me, although I would like to be able to customize which notification to add sound to without disabling them completely. But it is a minimum detail for that to affect the score. Thanks for this, it is very useful :)
• (2021-06-30) Omar Permenter: Its really good but i frequently deal with an issue where it suddenly stops receiving notifications and i have to reinstall the extension and open my notifications on FA for it to start getting them again.

• (2020-09-30) Kevin Hackbeil: Great extension, it works well so far! I have a feature idea though: An option to enable submission notifications only for specific artists or users. I watch a ton of users on FA, so I'd get a lot of submission notifications. It would be great if I can pick which artists/users I get notifications for.
• (2020-04-03) Zidders Roofurry: It was working fine until FA updated. Then suddenly it began sending too many requests. Now my IP is banned for 22 hours.
• (2019-09-23) zach duncan: Works amazing! Also has a notification center for FA. handy if your at work and you need to see if you got a MSG, FAV, or comment without accidentally opening 18+ content!

  Hello Is there a known issue lately or is t his on my end? New submissions / journals / notes /comments don't make noise and when I delete them the number does not update. It stays, for example, showing [2] and right now I have 0 new things to check.

  FA updated the species list a few weeks ago, and the list in the uploader is unchanged. It still works, but can't use any of the added options. I did attempt to work around this, but there aren't any browsers that like unsigned extensions, so an official fix would be wonderful. I did attempt to contact you using what's listed on the Firefox version, but I'm not sure that went through.

  Over the last few weeks I've been getting constant 503 errors. Today FA banned my IP for 22 hours due to your extension sending too many requests. "Your IP address has been temporarily banned banned for: 22hours 39mins Reason: Repeated mass requests to the user controls page. Please uninstall the FurAffinity specific browser extension, one function of which is to show site notifications.   I've tried uploading a few different times and the first time it just stood at "uploading image.png... 100%" forever and never actually uploaded, and the last time (just now) it said "error! retrying upload in 5 seconds..." and it tried reuploading but it never succeeded. I've tried removing and reinstalling, nothing works.
