  • (2021-01-20) Mike Spence: Really like it but have two bits of feedback - Would like the potential to move the red dot from the bottom right corner to somewhere else. Some text boxes can only be made bigger in bottom right corner which makes life hard when the Sapling circle sits on top of the extender! - More than anything, would absolutely love the ability for it to autocorrect my spelling to the suggestion provided!!!! Extension works perfectly as described though
  • (2020-12-31) WAHAPY VIETNAM: I love this extension, it very good and is smart. Thank team
  • (2020-12-29) Kingsfork Hospitality: 😍"This is what I wanted" Must have app😍
  • (2020-12-27) James Davis: Really nice, but ridiculously expensive for the pro version at $25. a month X 12 months = $300. a year. Seriously; what are they thinking? Talk about dramatically limited your user base! Also, the free version is extremely annoying to use since the popup is always displaying things that are only in the expensive version and so constituents a frequently and distracting nag!
  • (2020-11-17) madden martin: ok guys i trust you in the 5 star rating. lol
  • (2020-10-28) Rishab Dang: Pathetic experience. I came specially to write this review just because of one thing. If you are not their paid user than they outline your incorrect text, saying that his can also be corrected for paid user, and then there is an option to ignore it, that ignore button in their tool does not work properly, it never word properly, and it is kind of frustrated. They have purposely made it like that ignore button under and dump yellow line don't go.
  • (2020-10-15) Alex Justask: it couldn't let me sign up, I tried different email and still I receive the same message below. please fix it Error: Disallowed email domain.

  • (2020-07-31) Cassandra Rommel: Sapling has been a low effort way to ensure my emails are high quality. I don't worry about proof reading anymore because I've come to expect a nice little suggestion to pop up. I've gotten to learn a few things about proper grammar as I use it more.
  • (2020-07-28) William W: the app wont let me sign in
  • (2020-07-11) Of course it helps! Even now, reducing my sentences (thoughts) closer to children's IQ.
  • (2020-07-02) Sanjay Singh: It's a wonderful extension not only for beginner but also for a pro learner. It really helps.

  • (2020-02-13) Amandine Mawout Signe: It's quite interesting
  • (2020-01-09) Robby Bennett: It's pretty great at detecting grammatical errors. Most other extensions detect 1 or 2 out of six of the errors in my sample. This extension told me about 5/6 of the mistakes.
  • (2019-12-09) Ievgen Beliak: I only started to work with Grammarly. Anyway your YouTube ads are awesome!
  • (2019-12-06) Alicia Mason: It wont work at all. or I do not know what I am doing. I even put it on chrome and to the doc add on neither one will work i verified my email and anything can some one help me?
  • (2019-09-19) Sakshi Ahlawat: thank u 4 providing get grammarly app...
  • (2019-08-04) Saudi Expats: Sapling is one of the best Grammar checkers in the market. I have been using the free version for one year. I'm going to upgrade to pro now.
  • (2019-07-27) healed Kelly: I really enjoyed working with this app. Review the price and you will get lots of premium customers.
  • (2019-04-17) Jordan Long: This is amazing, switched over from Grammarly and never looking back!
  • (2019-04-07) Aryan Sawhney: By far the best grammar checker in the market. Directly competes with the premium versions of Grammarly and Ginger and is better depite it being free. Just love the extension and hope you can add free support for more websites.
  • (2019-03-22) EDIT: Crio is now 'Sapling'. As was almost inevitably going to happen, a free start-up product has now become a two-tiered 'free but hobbled' and 'fully featured but eye-wateringly expensive' subscription. As I write this, the free subscription is OK and still worth having, but the finer points of grammar are held behind a paywall in the style of a yellow squiggly line and 'only available in Sapling Pro'. Fair enough. We've all got to eat. But $25 a month? Still, the free offering will pick up most of your simple mistakes and it's still worth having there in the background. No reason to change the star rating as something is better than nothing. _______________________________________________ First review: Great start. I get this is a brand new thing and will perhaps be a little rough around the edges. But for now, I think it's great and has helped me a lot when writing. Most spell checkers are great, but they can't tell when you've used the correct spelling of a wrong (in context) word. This is where Crio and its AI comes in. And the best part is, Crio can only really get better as it's developed. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out and will watch with interest.
  • (2019-02-19) Veronica Million: I used this on Docs and found it much more useful than Grammarly! I'm still using Grammarly, but I just might switch.
  • (2019-01-25) Sir Henry: Edit: Whoa, guys! You actually rebranded into Sapling and want much more than a grammar correction/language improvement AI! You should have told me about it... I'm happy if I could help you in some ways. You don't really want to compete with Google's Assistant or Siri, do you guys? Because that would be crazy and I wouldn't see a chance for you to be relevant in that field at least for the next 10 years. Since the last review entry from me things have improved enormously! Thanks for that, guys! :) Okay, this app is like magic! ✨😍👏 I really love the corrections, that it's all for "free", no ads, no compromises on features and it works so so well! I cannot describe just how happy I am to have found this extension! What I really miss, though, is support for my mother tongue German. I am deeply impressed by this extension and would consider buying a paid version of it for an affordable monthly fee (something like 5 Euro/month) as soon as German support got added!
  • (2019-01-21) The app is just not acceptable as compared to CRIO. it doesn't even catch anything. Why would you create something that is simply just not efficient yet. CRIO was the best, and you guys have killed it. pathetic move :( not good
  • (2019-01-20) James W: Using OrchardCMS admin pages to edit the pages, and this extension doesn't catch anything. Instead it only opens a text box from the extension to copy and paste and displays "Sapling is currently not available on this site.". It's easy to forget to do copy and paste text all the time, so not acceptable for what I am expecting (to edit in-line).
  • (2018-12-18) Dice No More: Nice :-)
  • (2018-10-04) Kyle Gilbert: Solid grammar extension with great recommendations.
  • (2018-10-03) Justen Teguh: Great extension & one of the most helpful I've used thus far. Works in a very natural way that makes it simple to use.
  • (2018-10-03) Willy He: Love the new Wordpress compatibility!
  • (2018-10-03) Jomar Samudio: Overall it's working the way it should be, what I really love about this extension is, it provides suggestions and alternative word/phrases for any grammar error. I've used different grammar correction extensions previously, but they only highlight errors in the sentence without any suggestions. With English being my second language, this has been a great help for my social media work.
  • (2018-10-03) Bob Garcia IV: I am a sports writer and I have used Crio for the past month. It has helped catch the grammar mistakes that I wouldn't typically notice. I think this a great product for anyone in my career field or just simply typing up an email.
  • (2018-10-03) Joseph Bigler: Over all, I like the way it works. Available on the web is nice as well. Two errors: It's suggestion for replacing don't was to remove it. No additional suggestion. It should have recommended do not. It wanted me to change any to no, which made my answer incorrect. Also, there is no way on the site to send what I found, only through this review. You responded to the complaints in the reviews so how about letting us send you things we think are wrong or possible alternatives right from the form?
  • (2018-09-19) RICK MATA: After I installed Crio, it never gives directions where to have your writing checked. It would be a lot easier if there was an area to have your writing checked. Will change the rating if this is fixed
  • (2018-06-26) M D: Catches a lot of my grammar mistakes.
  • (2018-06-26) yi wei: It is a really fantastic tool for writing in English...
  • (2018-06-24) Sharon Yao: Works great!
  • (2018-05-24) Jason Jong: Works great!
  • (2018-05-21) Aora: Does not work AT ALL
  • (2018-04-20) Chris Lengerich: Looking forward the development of this product.

  • (2020-10-28, v: Christopher Boyd: Interferes with HTML Editors
We have an HTML WYSIWYG drag-and-drop editor on our site and Sapling creates attributes and modifies the content, creating issues. Is there documentation explaining how to flag a div and it's contents to be ignored by Sapling? Grammarly has a similar method to say "ignore this and all children elements".

  • (2020-01-09, v:1.7.4) Robby Bennett: Grammatical Error Catching
This extension is pretty good at catching grammatical errors. It's why I installed it. However, it still misses at quite a few basic ones. For example, this sentence is not getting highlighted: I do not color blind. I suspect it's because the word "blind" can also be a verb.
  • (2019-12-06, v:1.7.1) Alicia Mason: not working at all
