Build the habit of focus.
🎯 Browse with intention
When you visit a distracting site, Intention will ask you to commit to a time limit in order to unlock the site.
⏰ Stay focused
If you unlock the site, Intention helps you focus by showing how much time you have left.
🙌🏽 Get your attention back
When your time runs out, Intention automatically ends your session and helps you reflect on how you'd like to be spending your time.
No more unconsciously checking endless feeds the moment you're bored.
No more thinking "just 5 minutes" and wasting hours.
No more mindless browsing.

Effective at blocking but I like in particularity its focus on intentional browsing, by allowing unblocking for "productive sessions"
a perfect tool for reminding you how much you spent on distracting sites
Not just another YouTube blocker. The idea behind "Intention" leads to healthier, more controlled consumption.
works perfectly on YouTube and Reddit
Great app if it worked on facebook, happily 5 stars if the facebook thing gets fixed
Only prompts up on youtube, doesn't show up on other websites like instagram or facebook. Love the look and would use it if it worked on the other websites.
Doesn't work
Doesn't do anything at all. Doesn't block websites. Completely unfunctional.
a great extension, but i wish you also added an option for a timer of 10-20 seconds before being able to enter each of the distracting sites
one of the best extension
Does the job well, no fluff.
Nice app for productivity.
I like that it prompts you to be intentional with your distractions. It reduces mindless browsing. I like it.
Best tool, all that for free, don't get that too often these days ❤️
Great extension
The Best Extention for limit Youtube for me.
Amazing. The best tool to stop using social media.
Perfect! Helps me manage mindless browsing
awesome!
Great... Very Great
The Absolute Best!
Fantastic!
Thank you very much, it works :) We need the same for edge.
Cool. It doesn't completely block webs, but make you think about it twice. You can also specify that it is a productive session, for example in youtube sometimes I have to watch a video to help me progress in something, and that youtube time doesn't count as "time spent on distracting sites". Also has streaks if you are less in the sites than the time you want, so it's helpful trying to keep your streak. Nice extension overall.
When I saw the rating, which is 5 stars, I thought it might be great. But my expectations were ruined when I saw it. It was just showing that the time was completed but not blocking the website or didn't keep any banner on the website. So, I didn't find it helpful.
Great extension!
I'm trying to ue this extension o Kiwi Browser (Android) but I can't pass the "Allow Permissions" page. Any suggestion?
It makes me browse the world wide web in a slightly better way.
awesome extension for productivity🎗️
This has been by far the best method I've found over the years in reducing wasteful screen time while still allowing for human nature of needing short distractions from time to time to relax your brain. I am on a 600+ day streak. I've now seen that with the newest version of Chrome, this extension is not compatible anymore. Can you please make it work with the new Chrome versions? It is such a great tool and would be a shame to lose it!
I've used so many chrome extensions for managing distractions, this one is the simplest and easy to use! I don't think I'll have a need for anything else now, thanks dev for making this. I'd love to see as features: - Optional passphrase prompt for the Unlock action - Customizable opacity for the blurred background (for example make it super blurry, currently can still make out the content in background)
Better than apple screen time.
Great! simple and straightforward! Thank you for this DK!
I'm loving Intention! It's the best system I've found for limiting my FB use. I have to go on for various reasons, but this allows me to be thoughtful about how long I'm staying on and whether I'm using it for good or evil. Evil = aggravating my ADHD.
Absolutely amazing—I can't live without it.
Really helped me study and not let me get distracted
As someone who uses a lot of attention management extensions (e.g. freedom etc.) I love Intention's approach, and I highly recommend it.
nice!, thanks!
I was a little suspicious of this extension having a perfect rating (with fairly consistently spaced ratings—gives bot energy), especially since extensions like this need a lot of access to function. I'm still going to be cautious of that while I have the extension downloaded, but overall the Intention functions much better than similar extensions. I recognize that "the develop has disclosed that [they] will not collect or use your data," but I don't know what that process involves beyond promising not to. I personally love how it allows for exceptions for certain sites: I can add google.com to keep me from surfing the web but can whitelist mail.google.com, docs.google.com, and accounts.google.com to continue using those without Intention popping up. That's a feature that most extensions that serve to block or limit time on websites would really benefit from.
It is a very good extension
Gets the job done! Love the fact this is also on Firefox!
make it tricky to go on distracting sites like some sort of brain activity . other all good
great but add password feature ...makes it so better
works well, minimal UI, i love the streaks feature
Does what it's supposed to do!
Amazing extension! Privacy friendly and very effective. keeps me in check of time
i had control on my youtube as i use it 2 hrs before using this extension but after i am using avg 30 mins , all thanks to u
Amazing, helps keep track and keep in check time "wasted" on unproductive sites and boosted my productivity and awareness of how much time I was actually wasting before. Great tool! Simple and effective, highly recommended!
I love it! It is quite easy to use and it really helps me to time down using FB and other SNS.
We've got App Timers to stop mindless scrolling on smartphones. This is basically the same idea on Chrome. Saves you lots of time.
