This is just what I needed, and I'm able to delete all of my messages without paying for additional access.

I needed to clean out our General channel because we were adding some external members to our workspace and the general channel had some internal messages. I paid for the admin version and the flaw I ran into was that it wouldn't delete thread messages. (It deleted the main messages, but not sub-messages, it would get 'stuck' every time there was a thread). I had to pause the process and manually delete the messages in the thread. Luckily it didn't take toooo long, but for $50, I expected it to automate the whole process.

• (2021-01-13) Marc Bower: It works for me (free version), but it's painfully slow. However, slow is better than the "not at all" option offered by slack themselves, so thank you for this extension. We used it to clean out the #general channel (which my group used as the main chat channel.. I know, bad choice) to add another team in on the server. Fortunately a small group we are, so we each went through over a couple of hours and scrolled our way through the deletion.

  I'm not sure if Windows Update was the problem. I'm using Chrome Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit), and the latest version of your software (2.7.4). I updated Windows last night (it's an older update - version 10.0.19401). I've done all the usual things - uninstall/reinstall the extension, log out/in of Slack, restart Chrome, restart Windows - but it won't delete. It's worked perfectly until now.
