  • (2024-02-07) Google Account Onem Production: Very good but sometimes it scrolls up a bit when scrolling down. I'll test it at home with a different mouse, as I suspect it's the problem with my mouse at work. Update: Yes, the problem was the mouse. It also scrolls up a little when I'm not using the extension.
  • (2023-12-19) Kenny McCormick: The popups and the fact that it opens a new page after every update was off-putting. It didn't really make a whole lot of difference to begin with.
  • (2023-11-15) Riky X: I have it for years now, but recently started to break some webpages, like some search bars (Reddit as example). When you want to type a space with spacebar, it does scroll the page instead. had to disable it. Please fix.
  • (2023-11-13) Cristian J. Hidalgo: Google should hire the genius that created this extension.
  • (2023-10-10) đần k3: cool extension
  • (2023-09-23) Haroon Ishaq: I love it but I'd recommend not to use it on low end devices such as my laptop which is trash, but works flawlessly on my pc because it has way better specs
  • (2023-09-08) itsmesumyyy: I would've rated it a 5-star, only if there aren't any popups, other than the options tab. Those popups are quite annoying, and no one wants it.
  • (2023-09-08) Miguel Ángel López: I tried the extension, it did work. However I don't need a constant reminder to buy the license to your app. Uninstalling.
  • (2023-09-04) D D: Works great but what I exactly needed is the scrolling experience in Firefox.
  • (2023-08-25) Dominik Pflegerl: Stop creating a tab every time this extension updates, this is annoying as heck. I don't want your Windows application.
  • (2023-08-18) zworbork: It's very nice, but my one problem with it is that it overrides the feature that lets you scroll sideways when you hold shift.
  • (2023-08-03) danteasy: The idea and realization are great! However, touchpad back-forward gestures (using 2 fingers) aren't working with this extension enabled. Fix it please
  • (2023-07-08) frank true: Garbage!!! Not maintained for 5 years. A lot of sites are not recognized by the extension. Totally blocks scrolling on some sites.
  • (2023-06-25) hl3_: The Chrome Extension and Desktop app they offer lags like crazy.
  • (2023-06-25) H: I love this app. Smooth scrolling makes such a big difference in the feel of the whole operating system
  • (2023-04-23) BugzumDev: Great!
  • (2023-04-19) Darren Thompson: Periodic adverts to try and get you to use the desktop app. Intrusive and should be delcared as an advert extension. Not ethical. Avoid.
  • (2023-03-16) Josh Zhou: Always ask me to relaunch chrome, can't stand it any more.
  • (2023-03-09) Akshay Verma: Breaks a lot of sites and was breaking the input field on localhost as well, where I couldn't enter "space" at all. Spent way too long debugging it because of this extension somehow hijacking the behavior. Had to remove extensions one-by-one to uncover the issue. Very painful.
  • (2023-02-09) M P S: Da lo que promete desde luego 👌👌
  • (2023-02-04) Kiệt Lê Tuấn: Love it
  • (2023-02-02) Vu Quoc Huy: it worked!
  • (2023-01-27) Donna H.: I only used this so I could scroll right and left at the bottom of web pages on my PC. I have problems seeing and if I make the pages too large I can't see the outer edges of my screen without scrolling back and forth. Using arrows on my keyboard would not let me see the screen. This extension was extremely helpful for me. The rules have changed, and the developer wants money to use it. It now has constant nag popups to buy, if you close them it WILL keep working. I'll just deal with it because I have no choice. It only seems to come up once per web page. I just wish if he wanted money he wouldn't offer it as free. It's been doing this for over a month now. I really need this so I'll deal with the nags. Maybe someday he'll have needs that can't be addressed. I'll never buy anything from him or donate to him after this experience. I hope he reads this. This was a jackass move.
  • (2022-12-30) Lawrence Chau: Works great on Ubuntu Linux.
  • (2022-12-14) DanSte94 (DanSte94): Es justo lo que buscaba, la puedes configurar tambíen si quieres.
  • (2022-12-06) Eden Phillips: Pop-ups?!!?!? Seriously?? Just why it's so amateurish. Would get higher rating but => pop-ups. Just don't. Silly decision. I have 30 plugins. Imagine if they all had pop-ups? Fortunately, none of them do. Only SmoothScroll. Every time, there it is. Damages the brand. Just stop please.
  • (2022-12-02) Corey Rollins: The extension works ok to good, but marking this a 3-star because starting 30 seconds ago, I'm being told my license is up. I've used this extension forever and now they want me to pay for it without ever indicating this would be a paid for extension. No thank you, uninstalling.
  • (2022-12-01) Marcus Chibucos: This review is about smoothscroll.net, which provides the SmoothScroll plugin for Chrome and related apps. I downloaded the new macOS app that was being promoted on the Chrome plugin page, so I feel my review is appropriate here. Within seconds after installing and enabling accessibility permission, my system froze (Ventura 13.0.1). I had to hard-reset my machine and uninstall the app. A concern/question I have is that the macOS app communicated with six websites immediately after/during installation: smoothscroll.net, three sites at cloudfront.net with cryptic alphanumeric prefixes, fastspring.com, and google-analytics.com. Maybe I misread the privacy disclosures, but that seems pretty egregious since the company claims that the app does not collect user data and runs no background processes. I'm not an app developer, so maybe there's a legitimate reason for this, but it seems suspicious to me - the developer can respond and set the record straight. I also didn't see anywhere that the standalone app was a trial and that they want something like $10 a year for it. It felt like a bait and switch. No, thank you.
  • (2022-11-09) Dzid: It breaks two-finger swipe back navigation
  • (2022-10-30) Richard Lievesley: Too confusing to use. The settings have very basic descriptions which makes adjusting them to get scrolling to function just how you like it extremely difficult to do. Found myself playing with the settings more than actually using it.
  • (2022-10-11) Lê Minh Bảo Phúc: Love it. Please keep it up. From Vietnam with love <3
  • (2022-08-18) Md Asad: I want to see it in Firefox
  • (2022-07-27) Guilherme Barbosa: Excelente!
  • (2022-06-25) Scott McKibben: No longer works. Contacted developer and didn't get a reply.
  • (2022-06-18) Md. Shaikul Islam Nabin: fantastic, this is exactly what I wanted.
  • (2022-03-22) George Papadimitriou: True eye-saver - shame there's only 5 stars to give.
  • (2022-03-12) Atharva Sinha: Scrolling on Linux on Chromium is really slow and broken, this fixed it for me
  • (2022-02-26) Emmanuel James Carranza: cool
  • (2022-02-20) planecar planecar: Amazing extension!
  • (2022-02-03) Disruption: Works beautifully on every other site except YouTube. YouTube stutters and lags heavily and renders it almost unusable. Would not recommend if you are an avid user of YouTube.
  • (2021-12-23) Jake J: Perfect. I was having issues with scrolling on browsers in Xubuntu/Ubuntu and this resolved the issues *easily*. I've had other solutions that were a pain, but this was stupid-easy. Very pleased. Thanks! And yes, HIT THE SAVE BUTTON.
  • (2021-12-15) Kevin Daniel: Doesn't work.
