  • (2023-08-13) Peter Jannsen: This is an extension that I use on a daily basis in many different situations and I now can't imagine the Chrome browser without Hoverify. In my personal ranking of Chrome extensions, it is definitely Number 1.
  • (2023-07-26) Milez Awxy: This is a paid extension, doesn't even have trial, just straight up pay wall.
  • (2023-07-18) Hawkin Spingies: pay wall
  • (2023-07-02) Lucy Bloody: Only paid version
  • (2023-05-14) Serge Zhuk: Not working.
  • (2023-03-07) Guillermo Gil González: Garbage, paid version only - no trial!
  • (2023-02-01) Sam Stevens: I'm not a real heavy use of this app but I still use it enough that it gives me a benefit. I mainly got it because it rolls a few different extensions that I had into one, reducing the RAM and CPU usage of Chrome/Edge a little. My only issue (which is why I've knocked off 2 stars) is that the builtwith feature just never works for me. I don't think it's ever worked once, and it is something I like using quite a lot. I used to have BW and Wappalyzer installed but swapped them out just for this, but it never works and I have to go to BW manually and copy and paste the site in. The element inspector, Asset collection, colour picker and Debug section (for clearing cache and cookies) are great and are handy to have when you need them. It's just frustrating that it's let down by the BW function not working.
  • (2023-02-01) D Katz: I really loved this extension. I didn't mind paying for it—it was useful. But then when I had an issue with the responsive feature (it suddenly wouldn't display the site I was working on in the middle of a project) and I contacted the developer, there was no response and no support help. It’s a real shame, because it was great up until then.
  • (2023-02-01) Gary G.: paid extension. no trial. there are many other alternatives.
  • (2022-10-08) Moe Ali: Look Amazing, Nice work <3
  • (2022-09-20) Owen Lie: Can't use at all. Paid extension!
  • (2022-09-13) Terri Tutich: As a website developer, this plugin has so many handy features. One of my favorites is the ability to quickly take full page screenshots very easily, and the inspector tool and color selectors I use very often. There are lots of other different extensions or browser functions that offer these, but I love that everything is all in one place and consistent across different browsers and devices. Highly recommend.
  • (2022-08-29) UG: I can't even try, why should I pay then?
  • (2022-08-02) Lars E.rnst: A must have for every Frontend Developer Very useful for web developers, it is worth every penny. No need to dig around in the chrome dev inspector, you get all the necessary information right there on the page. Plus screenshots, asset list, SSL info, ... :)
  • (2022-07-18) Axo: Giving 3 stars mostly because this looks super helpful and contains a lot of features I would use and I'd feel bad if not. BUT This really needs a trial version, I'm not going to jump into something that costs $30 without testing it and seeing if it agrees with my work flow. A 'money back guarantee' just doesn't cut it, no matter how 'no questions asked' it is it's making things far more complicated than they need to be making me jump through hoops I don't want to bother with. Furthermore, it really doesn't need to be a subscription service. If it's good with my workflow then I'd happily pay $30, I am never going to pay a subscription for something that's not a live service.
  • (2022-07-07) Tim Hill: Love this extension. It comes jam packed with useful tools. Plus they keep making it better and better. For web development/designers this is a must have extension.

  • (2022-07-04) Jerry Stevens: Great addition to my toolbox. This was recommended by a friend. I am accustomed to using the inspect tool built into the Chrome browser so I didn't see the need for it but after trying it, I really like it. It just makes things easier.

I've been using for almost a year now and my love for it keeps growing as I discover more stuff it can do. It improves my productivity greatly and has become part of my daily workflow and I'm thankful to the dev team.

  • (2022-02-28) Scarly Designs: Great extension for web devs especially for beginners! The only thing i have to say would be better if the color pallet on inspect mode wouldn't show every color in the spectrum I just really want to see the main colors used like global colors and such. Please have a area for main colors to global colors being used on site, thanks!
  • (2022-01-03) Diane: This is a brilliant tool and I use it every single week (sometimes daily). The developer is responsive and is aways improving the extension. I can't recommend this extension enough. Huge time saver for developers!

  • (2021-11-21) Ray Mitchell: Hoverify is a great tool that replaces many of the other extensions I've used, and does it without adding bloat or a difficult to use interface. Himanshu, the developer, is extremely responsive through the support channels and through email and incorporates user feedback. Definitely worth adding to your toolkit.
  • (2021-11-09) Jay R: I found Hoverify by complete accident but let me tell you this is a phenomenal plugin and a huge time saver. I actively work on websites (personal and clients) and I cant believe I just found this. This does not only save alot of time it gives you very detailed insight on the build of webpages so if you see a feature you like on one you can use Hoverify to mimic the part of the particular page, redesign and make it your own. I highly recommended! Thank you Hoverify for developing and delivery just a fantastic, helpful and unique product.
  • (2021-09-10) Olivia Albury: I love the tool, not the company. They don't listen to suggestions, even just communicate. We have been trying to send out communication to the company, on their site, live chat, even on FB group, the founder was even tagged to no avail. I hate it when companies don't know how to listen.
  • (2021-08-14) Mark Schmale: Awesome extension for web developers :-)

  • (2021-06-24) Ojas Gangwal: Awesome tool helped me for my job so much , good for testing and developing websites continue the good work .
  • (2021-06-23) Jeff Tincher: Freakin' awesome extension that does what 3 or 4 other extensions do COMBINED! So therefore I reduce the bloat of my Chrome extensions by using Hoverify. Love it! I no longer need my colorgrabber extension, BuiltWith, etc. and the Asset feature is great too. I needed to rebuild a site that was shutdown and I went to Internet Archive, pulled up the page and used the asset grabber to get ALL the cached images. time saver!! The only thing i'm not totally sold on is the screenshot feature. I like to be able to get a shot of a specific section of a page and use that. Hoverify only (currently) let's me take a full window or full page screenshot. SO I still use another extension when only want to clip part of the page.
  • (2021-06-23) Clive Castle: I have not used too much yet ,But I am glad that I bought it , since the developers are always improving it or adding new features . A common use case is to want to inspect and see what the H1 is for a page. This can be done with your tool but something else I commonly do is copy the text of this H1 to paste somewhere else. This isn't possible that I can see. Thank you for considering.

Along with getting this working like one would expect, could you include an option to add words to a dictionary? Could be a very powerful feature. Thank you.

The responsive mode clicks all links and lightboxes across each view (Galaxy, Pixel, tablet, etc.), but scrolling is individual.
