• (2023-02-01) Sam Stevens: I'm not a real heavy use of this app but I still use it enough that it gives me a benefit. I mainly got it because it rolls a few different extensions that I had into one, reducing the RAM and CPU usage of Chrome/Edge a little. My only issue (which is why I've knocked off 2 stars) is that the builtwith feature just never works for me. I don't think it's ever worked once, and it is something I like using quite a lot. I used to have BW and Wappalyzer installed but swapped them out just for this, but it never works and I have to go to BW manually and copy and paste the site in. The element inspector, Asset collection, colour picker and Debug section (for clearing cache and cookies) are great and are handy to have when you need them. It's just frustrating that it's let down by the BW function not working.

But then when I had an issue with the responsive feature (it suddenly wouldn't display the site I was working on in the middle of a project) and I contacted the developer, there was no response and no support help. It’s a real shame, because it was great up until then.

• (2022-09-13) Terri Tutich: As a website developer, this plugin has so many handy features. One of my favorites is the ability to quickly take full page screenshots very easily, and the inspector tool and color selectors I use very often. There are lots of other different extensions or browser functions that offer these, but I love that everything is all in one place and consistent across different browsers and devices. Highly recommend.

• (2022-07-18) Axo: Giving 3 stars mostly because this looks super helpful and contains a lot of features I would use and I'd feel bad if not. BUT This really needs a trial version, I'm not going to jump into something that costs $30 without testing it and seeing if it agrees with my work flow. A 'money back guarantee' just doesn't cut it, no matter how 'no questions asked' it is it's making things far more complicated than they need to be making me jump through hoops I don't want to bother with. Furthermore, it really doesn't need to be a subscription service. If it's good with my workflow then I'd happily pay $30, I am never going to pay a subscription for something that's not a live service.

The only thing i have to say would be better if the color pallet on inspect mode wouldn't show every color in the spectrum I just really want to see the main colors used like global colors and such. Please have a area for main colors to global colors being used on site, thanks!

This does not only save alot of time it gives you very detailed insight on the build of webpages so if you see a feature you like on one you can use Hoverify to mimic the part of the particular page, redesign and make it your own. • (2021-06-23) Jeff Tincher: Freakin' awesome extension that does what 3 or 4 other extensions do COMBINED! So therefore I reduce the bloat of my Chrome extensions by using Hoverify. Love it! I no longer need my colorgrabber extension, BuiltWith, etc. and the Asset feature is great too. I needed to rebuild a site that was shutdown and I went to Internet Archive, pulled up the page and used the asset grabber to get ALL the cached images. time saver!! The only thing i'm not totally sold on is the screenshot feature. I like to be able to get a shot of a specific section of a page and use that. Hoverify only (currently) let's me take a full window or full page screenshot. SO I still use another extension when only want to clip part of the page.

  A common use case is to want to inspect and see what the H1 is for a page. This can be done with your tool but something else I commonly do is copy the text of this H1 to paste somewhere else. This isn't possible that I can see. Thank you for considering.

  The responsive mode clicks all links and lightboxes across each view (Galaxy, Pixel, tablet, etc.), but scrolling is individual. Is there a setting that turns on the scrolling to be the same and unified across each view? So scrolling on one will scroll all the other views.   I have a paragraph <p> where the css below applies: .blog-single-page .blog_single-body p:not([class]){ font-size:20px; color: #F3F3F3; } When I put the mouse over it if hover is activated this piece of css dissapears changing how the content looks. I guess that's due to the "p:not([class])", right? Can you fix it?
