Esta extensión anula el comportamiento de abrir una nueva pestaña. Abre automáticamente el juego en cada nueva pestaña que abres. También puede hacer clic en el icono de extensión y se abrirá una nueva pestaña con el juego listo para comenzar.
Flappy Bird es un juego simple en el que el jugador tiene que guiar a un pájaro a través de un nivel lleno de tuberías con solo un pequeño espacio para pasar. Está inspirado en un juego de helicópteros anterior y otros títulos que se remontan a los años 90, donde es necesario mantener el empuje para navegar un nivel.
El pájaro avanza automáticamente y el jugador solo puede interactuar tocando o presionando la barra espaciadora, haciendo que aletee sus alas para que vuele más alto. Como cada pasaje tiene una altura diferente, el jugador debe tocar o pausar (haciendo que el ave se baje) para asegurarse de que puede pasar. El juego no tiene fin, el objetivo es meramente obtener una puntuación alta y, en función de la puntuación total, se pueden obtener diferentes tipos de medallas.
