Tiện ích mở rộng này ghi đè hành vi mở tab mới. Nó tự động mở trò chơi trong mỗi tab mới mà bạn mở. Bạn cũng có thể nhấp vào biểu tượng tiện ích mở rộng và một tab mới sẽ mở ra khi trò chơi sẵn sàng bắt đầu.
Flappy Bird là một trò chơi đơn giản trong đó người chơi phải hướng dẫn một con chim vượt qua một cấp độ đầy ống chỉ có một khoảng trống nhỏ để vượt qua. Nó được lấy cảm hứng từ một trò chơi máy bay trực thăng trước đó và các tựa game khác từ những năm 90, nơi lực đẩy cần được duy trì để điều hướng một cấp độ.
Con chim tự động di chuyển về phía trước và người chơi chỉ có thể tương tác bằng cách chạm hoặc nhấn vào thanh không gian, làm cho nó vỗ cánh để nó bay cao hơn. Vì mỗi lối đi có một độ cao khác nhau, người chơi cần chạm hoặc tạm dừng (khiến con chim lặn xuống) để đảm bảo nó có thể vượt qua.
