Rotate YouTuBe Video window
The video can be rotated 90°. The button area is still below. The height of the rotated video is automatically adjusted according to the height of the window. The right-click menu can also be operated.

This is the most YouTube compatible extension that rotates the video. I use it for rotating videos recorded in portait but rendered in landscape.. This often happens with mobile phone screen recordings. This extention is your workaround if you're unable to rotate your desktop monitor.
unlike other similar extensions out there this one doesn't crop the video! not perfect though as it doesn't really maximise screen real estate works fullscreen (but doesn't maximise screen real estate)
