• (2023-05-14) marcy :3: there is not a single tutorial on how to use this thing. anytime i try to move my sprites around in a correct order, it just copy+pastes it, and i cant individually delete them. i have to start over. this is infuriating to work with, and theres no tutorial or anything on how to code in the first place. i just want a damn invader zim shimeji
• (2023-01-23) big soup: This addon is very broken. You can't login or publish your shimejis, but you can code yourself an extremely broken shimeji pretty easily. It's fun and i'd recommend it if you're only doing it for the laughs, but if you're looking to make a useable one then you'll have to look elsewhere. Problems you'll probably also encounter: - Sprite sheet is a big mess, it'll place the sprites in random orders no matter how hard you try to order it. So your shimeji will probably spazz around really weirdly. - REALLY finicky when trying to call in shimejis. sometimes they dont feel like spawning, sometimes they do. if you mess around w the addon, the settings or reloading you might be able to get them to show up. - Broken login page - The shimejis are 100% non-interactable. you cant click, drag them around or right-click them. They'll just run around on your screen unsupervised. I'd highly recommend finding guides to make your own from scratch instead of trying to wrangle this thing into working. Unless the developers ever decide to come back to this, its a waste of time trying to make a shimeji with this.

• (2022-01-29) capitan ice: oh my god, i wish the developer was more specific about how to lay out your sprites. for people who say their sprites are loading in the wrong order, you're NOT supposed to upload the images separately from each other! they are all supposed to be in one single photo file side-to-side, like the sprite guide shows you. hope this helps

  I don't event know what language I should be using for this (as it appears to prefer a language based on one of the help tab thingies). Please if anyone knows how to even begin coding the shimeji to work properly I need help. I also don't know which sprite correlates to which animation which means drawing my sprites in order is very difficult. I don't believe this to be a fault of the program, but there is no help on google or the FAQs.

  I've been trying to make my own shimeji, I have all 12 sprites and have numbered them correctly by following all your rules on the editor and the website, but the animations come out wrong and I don't know how to fix this. Say I code it to climb but the walking and sitting animation comes up as it climbs. My father who codes video games has also failed to figure this out. Also, how do you upload shimeji zip files to the shimeji editor.

  Hi there! I've created a Shimeji with more than 2 frames for things like the walk cycle and the dangling, but from what I can tell from samples the editor extension only allows for choppier animation versus those in the Shimeji Browser extension (eg Len). Is there any way to add in these extra frames with the current app or is that a no go?
