The name of the extension describes its functionality quite precisely. It's dead simple yet powerful and useful.
Click on the mic icon that lives beside the address bar. After that recording of your voice will begin and you will see a small timer that informs you about elapsed time. Click it one more time - the recording will stop and there will be a prompt that suggests you to save your recordings as an audio file.
That's it! Enjoy your mono WAV file.
Important note. Please don't miss a small popup which you will see after successful installation. The popup will ask you to allow this extension to use your microphone. Click "Allow" and then click the "Turn on" button on the Welcome page

- Funciona "bien". Es bastante cómodo que con solo un clic en el ícono de la extensión (sin abrir páginas adicionales o mostrar publicidad) se ponga directamente a grabar y con darle un segundo clic la grabación se detenga creando el archivo de sonido. Además, el hecho de que en el mismo contador aparezca en el ícono de la extensión también ayuda. Sin embargo... El hecho de que los archivos de sonido pesen tanto es algo que no me agrada demasiado. Para un pequeño audio de 20 segundos el archivo generado terminó pesando más de 2 MB, cuando lo normal sería que —para un audio tan corto— pesara mucho menos de 1 (quizás 0,2 o 0,3).

- It's one of the best audio recorder extensions on Chrome Web Store. I love the fact that it instantly downloads for you after you stop the recording, without you having to download it yourself. The only problem that I have with it now is, it doesn't playback like it used to though. It just downloads and when I try to play the recording I just get this error message. Can you guys fix this issue?

- At first I liked this. But then things started happening. The site would crash in the middle of audio recordings, and afterwards it would delete. Not using this anymore

- tried on windows os, it can really record my voice! but the sound is small unless you shout...it can be save by auto download. I hope it can capture smaller sound. Will try it again on chrome os.

- I can not access anything I have recorded as it does not give me an option to save anything. This is more than "just a little frustrating" when as soon as I end the recording, it is immediately deleted...

- Had to create a profile just to relay my disgust with this recorder. Crashes constantly. If you have a recording more than a few minutes long, it is guaranteed to crash and lose the recording entirely. The only way I'd trust it, is if you only need a few seconds recorded. It completely lost several work calls for me.

- Would be great if it didn't keep on popping open in a new tab, requesting access to my microphone, every twenty seconds. I tried to accept the request, I tried to deny the request, and even though each option responded as if it went through, the tab kept on opening. They need to fix this.

- There was NO popup prompting where to save or retrieve the file from after recording was completed. Recording has no use to me if I cannot retrieve or save the file afterwards, completely useless. (And all options for popups and other permissions were double checked. This should have worked.)

- Works fine the first time then suddenly loses 20 minutes of audio worth 20% of my final grade. Seriously? Can you not get a simple audio recorder correct? Absolutely do not recommend.

- When I go to click to record it has the time. When I click on it again to stop recording it stops it doesn't come up like I'm going to save it. It confuses me.
