El visualitzador de PDF per a Chrome és una eina gratuïta i molt útil que us permet veure i editar qualsevol fitxer PDF directament al vostre navegador.
Per veure el fitxer PDF amb aquest visualitzador de PDF, només cal que premeu la icona instal·lada a la barra d'eines del navegador o feu clic al menú contextual de Chrome i seleccioneu "Obre amb PDF Viewer".
Aquests són els motius per triar el lector de PDF:
- Mode fosc i clar.
- Estil personalitzat del visualitzador de PDF.
- Navegació per pàgina amb hash "pàgina".
- Obrir fitxers PDF deixant-los anar a la vista.
- Mostrar signatures PDF signades i no signades.
PDF.js és una biblioteca de JavaScript que representa fitxers de format de document portàtil (PDF) mitjançant el llenç HTML5 compatible amb els estàndards web. La seva implementació utilitza l'element Canvas d'HTML5, que permet velocitats de renderització ràpides. PDF.js està impulsat per la comunitat i és compatible amb Mozilla Labs.

Per operar amb aquesta extensió, feu clic amb el botó dret a qualsevol enllaç (un enllaç a un document PDF) i, a continuació, feu clic a - Obrir i descarregar amb PDF Viewer - element del menú contextual. Els fitxers PDF primer es "descarregaran" i després "s'obriran" en un visualitzador de PDF predeterminat (el que s'estableix a la pàgina d'opcions). PDF Viewer for Chrome is a free and very useful tool that allows you to view and edit any PDF files directly in your browser.
To see the PDF file with this PDF Viewer simply hit the icon installed in the browser's toolbar or just click the Chrome's context menu and select "Open with PDF Viewer".

- (2023-03-27) Jean-Baptiste Lesage: The viewer works perfectly when opening a local file however I can't make it open PDF files directly from Chrome (without downloading them) as it opens Chrome's default PDF viewer (which is slow and awful), compared to other PDF viewer extensions. Is it user error or can it be fixed?
