Get RSS Feed URL helps you quickly find and copy RSS or Atom feed links from websites.
Many sites no longer provide direct links to their RSS feeds. This extension detects and displays available feed URLs automatically, saving you the trouble of inspecting page source code.
In addition to detecting standard RSS/Atom feeds, the extension also supports several well-known platforms, including:
- YouTube: detect feeds for channels, users and playlists
- Reddit: retrieve feeds from homepage, subreddits or user profiles
- GitHub and Gitlab: get feeds for repositories (commits, releases, tags) and user activity
Other platforms with structured feed URLs may also be supported where possible.

- Open the popup using a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+R, customizable in your browser settings)

This extension does not collect or store any personal information.
Only read-only (GET) requests may be used to help identify RSS feeds on visited pages.
No data is stored locally or sent externally.

- (2025-06-20) Roadkill Cisco: Update: June 19, 2025 I came back to check on this and I had a response!? I never got notified by chrome but the update works as intended making my previous complaint basically null and void. I'll be moving it up to 5 stars since they fixed / added the feature I stated was missing. Should anything change I'll update once again but I have to say that was pretty quick! Thank you --- June 14, 2025 Score is based because you can get many front facing RSS feeds but not the more complicated ones. Example: You can get a RSS feed for the main YouTube channel but the playlist or podcast feed it is unable to find the feeds.

- (2021-06-23) Bob Loucks: For MY purposes it's excellent. I can get an atom feed and it works in Feedly for google news searches for free, whereas Feedly normally makes users pay for premium usage for those rss feeds :)

However, it doesn't light up, in the presence of RSS feeds, like Google's dysfunctional RSS Subscription Extension (by Google). I know Get RSS Feed URL will tell me, if I click on it, whether there's a feed there. But I would prefer the tool to be greyed-out, unless there actually is an RSS feed available on the page. So, I am forced to run both extensions; one to tell me there's an RSS feed here and the other to tell me the actual URL for that feed. Then I can copy and paste the URL into my feedreader of choice (currently, that's Feedly).
