TheGist allows users to summarize news present in web pages. To use it, the user just needs to open a web page containing some sort of news and then click on TheGist icon in order to get a summary.
The goal is to help people to save some time and make them read only the essential.
It supports 11 different languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish and Turkish.
Some pages cannot be summarized. TheGist is made for news pages.
