uBlock Origin
Extension Actions
- uBO filter lists
- EasyList (ads)
- EasyPrivacy (tracking)
- Peter Lowe's Blocklist
- Online Malicious URL Blocklist
- EasyList Cookie List
- Fanboy's Annoyance List
- AdGuard Annoyances
- Dan Pollock’s hosts file

- I don't know why I can't criticize Alphabet Groogle because every time I do my review gets filtered out. Anyways, I switched to Edge. uBlock is still supported on Edge (for now). If all you want is minimal annoyance filtering and blocking Youtube, consider using both the lite version of uBlock and Adguard. Find another non-Chromium browser (now). Opera, Blade, Vivaldi, and others will eventually be impacted too. Peace.

- Google is a corrupt and selfish company who is destroying the way the internet has been used and operated for decades out of corporate greed. They want to control and feed you junk bloated ads that over run the internet and contain malicious code, disgusting products you have no interest in, automatic pop up and pop under heavily animated and obstructive video ads and just plain annoying stuff you wish to not see like AI slop buttons all over the internet including Alphabet's Gemini. Adblock and uBlock Origin have done nothing harmful to me and have worked fine outside the meddling of giant tech companies that just want the worst for all user experiences forever.

- Best of the best. No wonder the 👃 want to get rid of it.
- Google User
- Interesting, uBlock developers are still updating this extension. For now, only a few Chromium based browsers are allowing the affected xtensions. Everyone needs to switch to another browser.
- Davidci Codex
- Just writing that this extension has now been unable to be switched on (from my end) because it 'doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions'. I want to say fuck Google Chrome and you should all switch to a browser that still supports this extension.
- Steven T
- Best adblocker in the world... and the reason I'll never stop using a browser that supports it.

- Looks like my Vivaldi browser doesn't support it now too.

- So many awesome MV2 extensions — many are not adblockers have been removed now by Chrome in version 150.x. I tried the workaround method, it's a chore to perform every few hours. Worst of all, it's temporary. Surprisingly, the MV3 extensions of Adguard & uBlock Lite are just as good as uBlock Origin MV2 in my experience so I'm using them now. uBlock developers says to switch to Lite or another browser. RIP to all the great MV2 extensions that were once on Chrome! Otherwise Brave still has MV2 extensions like uBlock Origin.

- so good, chrome wants it gone

- hey google, don't touch on my best extension.

- OMG. Google FINALLY did it. uBlock 1.72 worked fine until today. Google killed the only workaround to keep uBlock in Chrome. Now, I am switching browsers. So sad. July 1, 2026 will go down in history! Edit: I found a temp workaround, but it's complex!

- Version updated to 1.71. Interestingly, with SuperAdblock Test, uBlock scored lower than MV3 Aguard. And unlike Adguard, uBlock (this version) doesn't block cookie annoyance banners from the CBC News site despite adding it the filter list. And as of March 12 this extension is still supported on Chrome. I don't understand all the whining. Everyone should be grateful developers are still maintaining it instead of yanking it.

- This is the best extension on the Chrome Store. It's so good that Google had to allegedly get creative and change the Material Design format to make uBlock Origin not work anymore as designed, forcing them to create a stripped down version as a replacement.
- Abebe Mamo
- we are facing experience interruptions on youtube can you fix that pls
- The Heretic (Snordelhans)
- Greatest browser extension ever made in the history of mankind. Nothing comes even close.
- Tom Sinex
- Absolutely do not use this extension. If you ever need help with anything and report it on their github the mods there will throw a hissyfit and ban you. They won't even acknowledge clear things you put in front of their face, absolutely pathetic. Some are good, but you're better off just finding another extension.

- Great, however Google has decided to block adblockers and things like that by saying they don't follow their "best practices". If you already got it, good. Else you should switch to a different browser. (Not Brave)
