- Version updated to 1.70. Unlike Adguard, uBlock (this version) doesn't block cookie annoyance banners from the CBC News site despite adding it the filter list. And as of March 12 this extension is still supported on Chrome. I don't understand all the whining. Everyone should be grateful developers are still maintaining it instead of yanking it.

- "This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." Now, of course, there's a fundamental problem with this statement: it's a lie. There is NOTHING wrong with this extension. What is wrong is Google's supposed "best practices". They are NOT "best practices". They are simply Google crippling desired functionality of extensions for spurious and thus illegitimate reasons.
