- Awesome extension that runs effortlessly in the background, removing a majority of the web's barrage of adverts as well as stopping trackers from gathering data about me. The only reason I am aware of it is because I have it pinned to the address bar where the icon displays the number of trackers blocked. Clicking the icon displays a very simple and intuitive breakdown of exactly what trackers were blocked. You can also "Pause" Ghostery for a specified amount of time—or indefinitely—for that particular site you are on. Compared to other ad blockers, Ghostery is quite literally effortless, and so incredibly effective! Note: as of the date of this review, Ghostery works VERY well at combating the YT ads & their "We know you are using an ad blocker." I run another popular ad blocker along side Ghostery & about a month ago YT was not loading but that stupid dialog box saying "YT running slow? Find out why" was popping up. I disabled the one, but kept Ghostery running et voila—tout bon! YT loads, runs great, pas des advertisements!

- I gave it a one-week try (on Chrome and Firefox). Not so good. Often I get adds on YouTube and YouTube Music (never seen any with uBO or uBO Lite during all those years. It makes you jump). Also here and there on some pages you will get a pop-up for allowing cookies or not.
