IronVest is your all-in-one, security and privacy wallet that goes beyond any existing solutions to protect access to your accounts, secure your credit cards, and protect your privacy online with masked email addresses, single-use virtual cards**, and masked mobile numbers.
Use IronVest to prevent fraud by protecting access to your most sensitive accounts like banks, investments, health records, email, and more.
** More secure than a password manager or a VPN **
Traditional password managers are not secure enough. They store your most valuable usernames and passwords behind one single master password. And if that gets hacked, all your accounts are exposed.
VPNs provide a virtual private internet connection, but they are not designed to stop fraudsters from accessing your accounts. They create a false sense of security.
** How IronVest is different **
IronVest takes passwords and account logins to another level of security. With easy to use, face biometrics right from your browser, we ensure only you can access your most sensitive accounts like your bank account, email, investments, health records, and more.
** Next-gen password manager **
- A next-gen password manager that protects all your account login information.
- Truly seamless creation of strong, encrypted passwords on any site or service across all of your devices.
- Autofill your user name and password to login to your accounts on web browsers, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
- Protect your passwords with our patented biometric protection for account logins and account resets.
- 2FA code protection! 2FA codes sent to your mobile are vulnerable. IronVest is the only solution that only you can access your 2FA codes and autofills them for you.
** The ultimate in Privacy Protection **
Protecting your digital identity goes hand in hand with protecting your online security by keeping your personal information out of the hands of fraudsters and hackers. So we created a comprehensive set of privacy features that includes:
- Masked (private) email addresses - Keep your private email private. Get access to your masked email inbox or have them forwarded to your real email.
Masked mobile number - Don’t give away your personal mobile number anymore.
- Virtual credit cards - Create 1-time use virtual cards on the fly with one-click
Site tracker. Know which companies are tracking you and block them with ease.
** How we protect your data **
IronVest is built on a decentralized infrastructure, which means there is no single source of data to steal.
- Zero-knowledge infrastructure - we can’t access your passwords.
- Passwords and key data are secured with AES-256 encryption.
- Separate keys are used for authentication/authorization and data encryption.
- Encryption keys are stored using host-proof hosting.
- Encrypted data is stored using optional personal storage accounts.
- Key JavaScript functions run in protected contexts, not in the page.
** Secure, private and convenient online shopping and payments **
Even the most reputable sites and brands you trust get hacked. Keep your credit cards safe from data breaches
- Pay on any site without giving away your credit card info by using virtual credit cards.
- What you buy is your business. Keep what you buy private with virtual cards**.
- Prefer using your real credit card? Protect it on our decentralized network and autofill when you need it.
- Autofill info by just looking at the browser camera. We take care of the biometric authentication.
Autofill your personal info on any site with identity management profiles

- (2025-07-24) A. S.: Does what I need it to do with a minimum of fuss, display, and redirects. Communication between the site and the app needs work, though. I fear losing my system and then trying to recover my passwords with no sync.
- (2025-07-04) David: No longer seems to block trackers.
- (2025-06-17) Bex (Bex): Don't bother. This thing went downhill fast when they moved from Blur to Ironvest. They bang on about masked cards but they haven't been available for over a year and not given update on when they'd be back. I finally cancelled. I was a premium user for the longest time and I can't even access my account since I've been downgraded to basic. This company is shite.
- (2025-05-30) MHALA - HSSP: Subject: Feedback on Recent Extension Update Dear Ironvest Team, I appreciate the introduction of the new security features in the extension; however, I have some concerns regarding usability. I noticed that the autofill functionality for usernames and passwords is no longer available, which has become quite inconvenient. Additionally, the extension no longer appears when I right-click, requiring me to manually click on it to retrieve my credentials, which disrupts my workflow. Moreover, I find myself having to input my password each time I need to copy a password, making the process rather repetitive. I preferred the functionality of the previous version. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on these issues. Thank you for your attention.
- (2025-05-21) Jeremy S: Agree with others, this used to be an really nice extension and worth the money. Currently its completely broken for me and buggy as hell on chrome. Very disappointed. Will need to transfer all my accounts to a new service when my subscription is up.
- (2025-05-08) Jay Coviello: Been using this for YEARS and loved the app/ext when it was Blur. I had the $100 year premium plan. After the "change" to Iron Vest it went downhill, but was still pretty functional so I down graded to the plus plan for $40 a year. Since the update early 2025, I won't be renewing when it's up in September. It went from a 4-5 star to a 1 star at best. New UI is confusing as hell. Ended up changing passwords on existing accounts more than I care to admit. That turns into having to log into the dashboard, correct the password back to what it was. (hoping I remembered what I had used in the first place.) It used to auto fill like a champ, now it hardly does it at all. Even worse, most sites seem to block the app whenever I try to mask an email address. I just get this little flash of the new UI and it goes away. Sooo, have to open the dashboard, generate a new masked email, copy paste etc. It's not worth using anymore. I checked all my settings for security to be sure it wasn't "me" and nah, it's the app. Too bad. The mobile version always sucked and never auto filled anything...but I didn't mind doing the extra digging the few times I had to use it.
- (2025-05-03) Steven Leber: Dissapointed that the description doesn't say "Not For Computers".
- (2025-04-25) Matthew White: The new UI is awful. Completely ruins the app for me.
- (2025-04-10) Y EET: new ui STILL sux.
- (2025-04-04) Noyoumaynot Havemyname: Ironvest browser extension update that occurred for me in end of March 2025, which now has the bluishgreen background when trying to locate your information saved on this extension. Broken images on the extension. The layout/new design is poor and hides a lot of information that was available on the old style. Unable to right click a space to choose to create and populate a new email/password/anything, unable load saved accounts, unable to select from a textbox popup to find or create new account/email/password. It doesn't read any of my click responses to change from "Password" to anything else. Keeps by default creating a new password and overwriting the saved password anytime I try to log in anywhere. Have to keep entering in my Ironvest password in order to view the password of an account, in the extension, because that's the only way I can login now since selecting autofill no longer exists. There are no updates available on here so I have disabled the extension until hopefully all this gets fixed. This change from the old extension is an all-around bunk, it unfortunately seems I am not the only one suffering from it.
- (2025-03-20) Ramon Schreuder: Worked pretty well until early 2025 when it stopped being possible to generate masked emails straight on a page. Went downhill fast since and today I noticed the whole extension isn't working anymore. Edit March 20: after some assistance from the helpful support team, it turns out there's a newer version of the extension that needs a manual reinstall. The feature to create a masked email directly on a website is back and works on most websites!! (has some issues with magic link sign-ups)
- (2025-03-11) Sunny Jo Gardner: Woke up this morning to my Chrome browser updated and a message to remove Ironvest as it is not supported in the new version of Chrome. I tried to log into my Ironvest account so I can download my data and I can't even log in!!!!! So my data is now lost to me?!?!?! F^&K!!!!!!!!!!! I hate extensions and I hate apps. Going old school and will keep my passwords under the mattress with my cash, seems to be the only system that can be trusted... I know, until someone breaks in, no need to chide me about that. I'm speaking figuratively of course. Update 3/11/25: I contacted support and worked with a very nice woman who assisted me in getting my data back so I could export it and save it. Apparently my premium account ended in December (I did not receive notification) and with it the auto-sync backup. She gave me a trial to the premium subscription so that I could access all my data and export it for saving (thank goodness!). She also states that they do have a new version of Ironvest to accommodate the new version of Chrome but it has not been pushed to all customers. In order to get it, I had to (download my data just in case), uninstall the extension, clear all cache/cookies, close/re-open browser and reinstall the extension. I have followed these steps and no longer see the message that was blocking me, nor does it state on my extensions page that I have to remove it from Chrome. Upgrading my stars to 3 until I verify all is well again.
- (2025-03-06) Marco Castellani: Canceled my plan and uninstalled, not sure what I'm paying for. Extension no longer works on Chrome. Even before then the autofill feature was terrible and getting in the way. Removed premium masked cards feature without providing a real timeline for when it would be available again, all while still charging the same for the premium plan. Most recent FAQs / blog posts from 2024, clearly shows the company has dropped the ball along the way.
- (2025-02-19) Jessica Montero: This works well enough as a password manager for me on my PC. I have had a couple of incidents recently where it asked to update my saved password and I did, but it ended up overwriting my valid password will all asterisks! Though I'm not sure if that was from chrome on android or on my pc, but I was very thankful for history. My favorite feature is the credit card autofill. I have multiple cards based on the purchase, so the ability to autofill the forms allows quick purchases and limits my use of the "save my card info" so I feel better knowing that everywhere I purchase from isn't keeping my credit card on file (at least where I can see). You're doing a really hard thing and I appreciate that Google doesn't know *everything* about me. (I'm assuming you'll have an update soon so you are supported by Chrome again. As a software engineer I can appreciate the constant catch up game for newer versions of dependencies.)
- (2025-02-15) TauTauBenn: After the update nothing is working anymore. What did you do to this?!?!?
- (2025-02-05) Jeff Vanzella: This used to be a really good extension. As others have said, it no longer works in my browser or on my phone. I have to manually open the website to fill in, or create new accounts and email addresses.
- (2025-01-18) Daz Kuffs: No longer works. All the features I disabled such as password saving turned themselves back on and get in the way. I can't find the settings to turn them off again. Some features such as the Tracking blocker tell me that I can't have it unless I use Chrome or Firefox. It tells me this whilst I'm literally reading the message inside the Chrome browser. Just broken. It keeps telling me to move my data from Blur to IronVest and neither button does anything at all so the settings are blocked. I did get around that with a popup blocker but man, what a farce. Uninstalled. No longer fit for purpose.
- (2025-01-15) Gav B: New update is awful - I used Blur for email masking only but since the move to IronVest it's trying to take over everything and arguing with my chosen password manager. IronVest have removed the ability to turn off the auto-fill for specific features - this means I now have to disable the extension completely and re-enable it when I need to generate a masked email. I regret having so many accounts now 'tied' to a service that doesn't work properly. It will be a real pain to migrate all of those email addresses over to another service. Everything was working fine, why did they have to go and meddle with it?
- (2025-01-14) - • - • -: Sadly, Ironvest browser extension no longer functions after they dropped the Blur software. It is also unfortunate that before this change Ironvest never invested the effort to improve its overall functioning. I am glad I started switching everything over to Proton Pass before this happened. The same company which provides encrypted email through Protonmail, and ProtonVPN for online privacy. They even have Proton Drive for encrypted cloud storage. I trust Proton more than any other internet based company for privacy and security. Everything they do is highly encrypted. They never sell your information to anyone. And they offer free versions of many of their services, and premium versions for those who want extra features.
- (2025-01-13) KT: terrible since they ended support for Blur. I migrated my data FOUR TIMES and it still won't show up correctly. Now the extension popup prevents functionality - I can't even type passwords into the text box fields, and the icon obstructs the view/hide on password boxes. Going to uninstall and go back to roboform.
- (2025-01-07) Maximillion Hardcastle: This system has sucked since it became Ironvest, now the extension has been "upgraded" again and it's completely broken. I'm not in the US so I can't use most of the features, but now there's no settings to turn off the stuff I don't need so it's destroyed my UI by overlaying everywhere I don't want it to. Extension has to be removed which means I can't used masked emails anymore, which means I'll stop paying for my three premium subscriptions.
- (2024-12-29) Brad G.W.: After this company got sold to IronVest, it doesn't work anymore. I don't have time to figure it out anymore. If there is a customer service rep then I could talk to then that would have helped possibly.
- (2024-12-28) melissa janik: 9 times out of 10 when I put my cursor into a box that requires username/password Ironvest doesn't pick up because it randomly logs me out of the ironvest account. Once I log myself back into Ironvest I have to re-fresh the screen at least 5 times before their website decides to show my list of usernames/passwords. This has been an issue since I"ve installed the extension and has nothing to do with the new Google requirements.
- (2024-12-20) Ro Haywood: love your app extension tremendous hep. Today Chrome disabled/remove it from their allowed extensions. VERY frustrating.
- (2024-12-17) Dave Milliken: Latest update is complete garbage. Everything is a major step backward. Edit: Yaron Dror responded saying the changes are driven by Google's new extension requirements, but it's really driven by a new monetization plan.
- (2024-12-16) Babak Amini: The latest update caused Vivaldi's CPU usage to spike significantly. It has rendered my laptop unusable.
- (2024-12-05) joY k: It used to function well, capturing username and password until recently when it appeared to have wiped off stored credentials. Submitted a support request more than a week, no response so far, except for the initial acknowledgement. After recreating some of the passwords, the mobile app shows zero account while the webpage list them! You will appreciate one cannot move to the premium account until fully confident about the reliability of the tool. At least decent customer support would have been expected ...
- (2024-09-22) Ryan Koch: IronVest functioned passably well, with desyncs which require me to fully log back into the service via directly logging back into the IronVest website, not even the extension function in the top right itself, to be able to store and access my passwords being way more frequent than should ever be the case. As of writing, the app has completely wiped all of my data unprompted by me. Can't undo this myself due to backups being a paid feature. Even if I manage to get this fixed by customer service I would highly encourage you to seek an alternative security extension, the consistent glitches and the fact that you can apparently just get your data wiped is unacceptable for even a free password saving service. RIP Blur, you were infinitely better than this husk of a service.
- (2024-09-04) Jeff Little: Updated 9/4/24 - I am downgrading this from 2 stars to 1 star. I am ****sooo**** sick of it never having my password, with no way to flag a bad password or a bad password field. When I add a password it seems like it never gets added, but when it has the wrong password it literally jumps into the field without me knowing where the password comes from. When you click on the extension link there is no way to interact with the account suggestions and when you type your own password trying to figure out what password was used for a site, it feels like it is just jamming your old password in when you are trying to do serious work with the website. It is also kind of ridiculous that when you have a separate password for a sub-domain there is no sensible way to deal with that situation. ----- This software has gone downhill since it was Blur. It is much harder to use now. It doesn't handle incorrect passwords well and you occasionally get locked out and there is no log in option. Even if you log in and access the password directly through the dropdown there is no way to replace a bad password. These people really need to try actually using this software as a user.
- (2024-08-31) Basics of Open Source Science (BOSS Open Access Sandbox): This extension does a great job at a tough task--open access software for privacy protection. This is the right kind of blockchain application. I only use the opayq email mask, but I trust this technology and developer.
- (2024-05-19) Archangel: For me, the most important feature is two factor authentication in a password manager. I have been a longtime user but have gone elsewhere since this feature does not work anymore. Trying to activate brings up a screen asking to scan the QR code with your authentication app but no QR code is displayed. Wrote to customer service and they couldn't give me a time frame for it to be re-activated. This is a huge security hole that has not been available for months. You would think this would be addressed imediately by a security and privacy company.
- (2024-05-12) Arc Ing: I use it in limited ways, mostly for the email substitutes it provides and it's fantastic at that job, I've used it for credit card masking a couple of time, it works well but it's a hassle. For passwords I prefer something that is focused on that (bitwa****) instead of a utility trying to do everything. I pay for premium about every other year when I remember.
- (2024-05-08) PROMEDUSA PTE LTD Backup account: Fantastic app.... especially since it is FREE! I've had very few issues with it over the past 3 years, and when there is a problem, their customer service responds very quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- (2024-05-04) Tim Cox: When it occasionally decides to work properly it is fine. Mostly it doesn't load the credentials properly and you have to go to the app and copy/paste out. More recently the address autofill has stopped working and despite recognising the fields doesn't fill them in. The Android app crashes about 50% of the time. Today I had to go to the Chrome extension to get it to log in and pull my details for a site, but clicking the extension did nothing and I had to open a tab directly. Not a big deal but just another absurd bug that has popped up. I don't know why I'm giving it 2 stars rather than 1, I guess because fundamentally it does save your credentials and creates strong passwords. But it is a heartbreaking downgrade from Blur.
- (2024-03-27) Meredith Lane Brown: I like what it is supposed to do, but it sure is difficult to use. It keeps saving the password from one account with the username from another account, or both under the name of a completely different website. Very peculiar. Also duplicates my credit card info unnecessarily, and won't let me delete masked cards. In short, it just acts bizarrely at times.
- (2024-03-11) Mil Op: Not the same quality as Blur was.
- (2024-02-26) Janice Alost: IronVest is a downgrade from Blur, harder to use. Also, for some reason, it wants me to put in financial info. Why? What for? Not gonna do it.
- (2023-12-29) Hiram Landeros: I been using for many years and it's been extremely helpful in managing my passwords across devices and freeing me of spam. Having access to temporary emails linked to my email, and being able to reply without exposing my real email is priceless. It's also very handy to manage all your browsing sites, with it's unique login, password and email.
- (2023-11-22) International English Services: It is worse since the name-change and various updates. Mobile app name/password transfer never worked well but now it is almost useless. Still getting adverts for biometrics and other features which I can't use in the Netherlands. We don't all live the US!!
- (2023-10-31) Amir: This is malware. It's invasive and takes over EVERYTHING and starts saving your entered passwords without permission. There is no way to disable this unless you do it one by one for each website.

- (2023-09-29) Roy Behymer: Not only is the extension great, but some of the website features are truly helpful. I had thrown away a theater ticket receipt, then later decided to change the date for the ticket. Unfortunately, cancellations aren't via the theater's app, but through the ticket confirmation email, which now was nowhere to be found on any of my devices. Enter Ironvest (formerly Blur). Their temporary inbox stores emails using their masking addresses for up to two months. And there is where I found the deleted email and was able to re-forward it to my devices. Saved me about $20 right there. Thanks, Abine/Ironvest!

- (2023-08-21) Levi Means: This was one of the best tools I have ever used and then the transfer to a new name broke it. No amount of re-importing the files from my previous blur account has resolved this. I've been fighting this for weeks it's it's frustrating. I got what I paid for and I'm switching to another service.

- (2023-07-03) A M: Was a Blur user. I'm glad IronVest is doing password retrieval. The app on the iphone is a little clunk with Safari, but it does sync between PC and phone, a feature you have to pay for with LastPass.

- (2023-06-30) Scott Wilson: After Ironvest took over, I've noticed that the extension is messing with sites even when it is supposedly turned off for them. I'm not sure what's going on and don't value it enough to dig into it further, but this is your warning: the extension is not doing what it tells you it is doing.
