  • (2025-05-21) mel: Very promising but the rules options are pretty confusing "Disable when" "Disable Only" I'm trying to keep all extensions on except on a specific domain but using a Disable when rule disables everything always, and disable only does nothing. I'll experiment more but I think this could be clarified a lot.
  • (2025-05-13) mservices Share: It is very useful. I believe the feature needed is the ability to order by group. This feature would help with organizing and searching, making the extension more convenient.

  • (2025-04-25) M: Love it, thank you for y work
  • (2025-04-17) Alexandre Kotob: Extension Manager is an amazing and very useful tool that makes managing browser extensions effortless. It allows me to quickly sort and organize my extensions based on how often I use them, which saves me a lot of time and hassle. I especially appreciate features auto activation on specific websites. However, there is one small feature I feel is missing. Sometimes when I install new extensions, I forget to add them to a group, making it hard to find them later in my list. It would be really helpful to have a โ€œNot Selectedโ€ group that automatically collects all extensions not assigned to any group. Alternatively, a feature that shows which group each extension belongs to at a glance would improve usability significantly. Overall, Extension Manager is a fast, simple, and secure solution that I highly recommend, with just a little room for improvement regarding the organization of newly added extensions.
  • (2025-04-15) Michael: An essential extension. Feature request: provide hardcoded groups "All" and "None". In "All" all extensions (including newly added ones) would always be on. "None" would replace a separate "Disable extensions" extension.
  • (2025-04-12) Hayden Cappadona: There is a bug In recent Vivaldi build, from at least 7.3.3635.9 where is hangs opening the browser for at least 20 seconds I love this extension and would love if you had time to update it But as there has been no updates in a long time, consider opening the source onto GitHub as Im sure there are many people that would be willing to keep it going :)
  • (2025-03-12) Mr. T-Wrecks: Used to be great. There's a bug where it won't save any changes made. I edited one of my groups to disable a few extensions, but when I go to a new webpage or refresh the current page, the extensions are re-enabled automatically. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the changes to save and stick. So, I made a new group and set that as my default. Only problem is that is keeps switching to the old default (with the same extensions re-enabled). It's extremely annoying. I've tried everything I can think of. Nothing works. So, I am removing this extension as it is no longer helpful.
  • (2025-03-06) Kamyar: Awesome Extension. A. Please make "Group" sortable: 1. Group header (in settings by button) [Ascending / Descending]. 2. Group header (in settings by manual) [Drag & Drop]. B. Please make "Group" duplicatable: C. Please make "Extensions" sortable: 1. Date install [Ascending / Descending]. D. Please add "Extensions" category option: 1. Type [Auto / Manual]. (e.g. VPN, Download Manager, etc.) E. Please add Backup option for "Group" + "Settings". 1. Cloud backup [Auto / Manual]. 2. Local backup [Auto / Manual]. Thanks for reply. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฏ
  • (2025-02-25) Anton Georgiev: ๐Ÿšจ Security Risk: Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability ๐Ÿšจ I discovered that this app uses a highly insecure method for handling JSON parsing, which can execute arbitrary code from untrusted input. Specifically, if the app cannot parse a JSON string, it falls back to using Function to evaluate the input as JavaScript code: ``` function parseJSON( str ) { if(typeof str != 'string'){ return str; } var s; try{ s = jQuery.parseJSON(str); }catch(e){ s = (Function(str) )(); } return s; } ```
  • (2025-02-08) William Deneault-Rouillard: best extension i'v tried so far all categories included
  • (2025-01-20) Ashish Alexander: lost all my groups. Export option does not save groups. When i tried importing file, nothing changed.
  • (2024-12-30) Anson Horse: Thanks to make this great extension! It would be more helpful if there's a button to create a group including current enabled extensions.
  • (2024-12-19) Chanz Holopainen: I need a guide for this extension. Can you provide a video guide?
  • (2024-11-14) Melvin MacDonald: Works perfectly.
  • (2024-11-13) Doug Montgomery: This extension actually kinda sucks on Chromium. You have to go into the actual browser extension settings via the browser menu to pin an extension to the tool bar. Oh, you can activate and deactivate but you can't pin anything.
  • (2024-11-12) SK Injamamul: It makes the extension management so easy, it gives a clear picture of which Extensions are enabled and disabling them is just one click away. Great Extension.
  • (2024-11-08) Learning Understanding: This a the greatest extension ever. It's the Bosssssssssss
  • (2024-10-13) mylhouse :0: extensioner actually worked
  • (2024-10-01) Jonathan - I AM: For me this extension is a must-have for anyone with a large number of extensions. It allows for enabling and disabling extensions quickly, from the toolbar. You can also set them up in groups, to enable/disable whole sets of extensions.
  • (2024-09-29) Pascal Dk: Great plugin. It should be native to all browser. But the setting page doesn't help using all its power. - group tabs always show all the plugins : please add a separator and put plugins from that group over the separator, all the other plugins under it. At least put all the plugins from one group all togheter, at the top of it - it is not possible to reorganize the order of group tabs (they just pile up as you create them), - it is not possible to reorganize the plugin icons inside each groups (drag'n'drop) - it's unclear how filters work : disabling functions doesn't work for me, both enabling functions do the same. Basically the only thing it does is to enable some plugins on some websites, but it never diable anything. Maybe a better explanation is required, or maybe it's broken ? I couldn't say. Unfortunately all these small flaws limits how ones uses groups and rules... TLDR pease make it possible to - reorder group-tabs and plugin icons inside these tabs - make rules more obvious (or less broken)
  • (2024-09-28) Sanaa: Is it possible to add an option to show and hide extensions in the browser's toolbar?
  • (2024-09-19) B oob: Great App always works well
  • (2024-07-18) Dr JavaB: it is good but why I can't click on extension and open it?
  • (2024-07-09) Adriel O'Malley: exactly what i was looking for thank you DEV.
  • (2024-06-26) Nik Friedman TeBockhorst: Really great extension manager, very well thought out, and I love having rules so I can keep Chrome's memory footprint down if I'm not on a website that requires certain extensions. Only item on my wishlist is that it would be great to have a default workspace that just auto updates when I add extensions or change things. Otherwise I'll add stuff, switch to a workspace, and when I switch back to "Default" everything new gets disabled.
  • (2024-06-20) Gรกbor Lippert: This was one of my favorite extensions - then recently it started to be buggy, now the Uninstall option doesn't work at all.
  • (2024-06-19) Gรกbor Klement: Please add option to make the views much more smaller. It is way too big even on "small" settings :)
  • (2024-06-13) Eugene Kuzmenko: Maybe I'm too dumb to use this "amazing" extension, but I have tried every permutation of "*127.0.0.1*" I could think of as a rule "match" value and NONE of them work to disable all extensions on localhost.
  • (2024-06-08) Google User: Quite bloated and large for an extension. Text et al too large. Rather complex to use compared to other extension managers There is no disable button just a trash button. . Rules configuration needs work (instructions). Icons or extensions (only grid view works not list) aren't easily noticed when setting up rules. Names of extensions and icons may not be accurate compared to the Chrome extension page. To setup rules to disable an extension for a given site, you need to "enable" not "disable" which is non-intuitive. It's like having the NEXT or NEXT PAGE button on the left screen instead of the right.
  • (2024-06-07) Epic Mango: I don't understand why this isn't core functionality already. Has some bugs in the rules but does its job great!
  • (2024-06-04) Justin Time: Best addon manager 5/5. Love the rule-based browser addon activation feature. I would like to ask or suggest (if not available) for an additional feature, that being: - Activation of addons on websites with embedded content, consider the extension Dearrow. I would love if I could make it activate only on websites with embeds of youtube videos for instance. Thanks again for this awesome addon! Everything I want in a extension manager!

  • (2024-05-16) Google User: Too bad extension isn't supported anymore. It hasn't been updated since 2021. There is no disable button just a trash button. It's like having the NEXT or NEXT PAGE button on the left screen instead of the write. No instructions on that. I worry this extension will break things and/or not be updated. Chrome has changed significantly since 2021 If the extension ever gets revived and these issues fixed, I'll add two more stars for five stars.
  • (2024-05-15) Itay Malleron: Something stopped working for me.. I can't seem to disable an extension when I visit a website - no matter what I do. It has worked in the past but now doesn't seem to be supported anymore; what am I missing?
  • (2024-05-03) ะŸะฐะฒะตะป ะšะพะฝะพัˆะตะฝะบะพ: Thank you! Please make it possible in the rules to disable an extension when visiting a certain site, but so that this extension is turned on itself when visiting other sites. Perhaps you need to add in the rules the ability to do inversion using the "!" symbol.
  • (2024-05-01) Kevin: An easy way to enable, disable, or even remove an extension is appreciated.
  • (2024-04-23) William Morris: Rubbish extension. Mystery navigation, no tooltips to tell you what you're doing, no useful documentation. Rules don't work, and having to switch between groups defeats the purpose of having it, which is, to switch extensions on/off per domain.
  • (2024-04-23) cw noway: Issue: Currently, when you disable an extension, it is "grayed-out" and placed at the bottom of the list. It would be much better if the disabled extension was "grayed-out" but left where it currently resides in the list. The way you have it now, causes confusion when testing multiple extensions by trying to quickly enable and disable them. It would be much better if you do it like the "NooBoss" extension does / did it, by leaving them right where they are.

  • (2024-03-04) John Peterson: Takes a little while to get the hang of it but, once you get all your rules in place, it works flawlessly and lets you work with a minimal set of extensions, opening and closing in the background as they are needed. Once set up properly, you can literally ignore it and trust the right extensions to be there when you need them. Also great for general management of your toy/tool box.
  • (2024-02-07) Zymantas Pakstys: OMG! Enabling extensions was so pain and it is for all browsers! This tool is mazing what i looking for is: create lets say folder for SEO/analytics and buy clicking on created folder would enable or disblae pre-seelcted apps! 1 word! Amzaing!
  • (2024-02-06) _ Nhat: Un install now work, It has good UI, help me navigate to page quick
  • (2024-01-19) Charles Magnuson: This extension can only disable another extension when you visit a URL. Once you navigate away from that URL, the extension remains disabled until you manually enable it. This problem makes this extension almost useless. Extension Manager needs to gain the ability to activate disabled extensions. Only being able to disable extensions is not useful.
  • (2024-01-12) Nana: So far it is the best out of others. I really like the simplicity of it.
