Enjoy

KNOWN ISSUES:
Pressing CTRL-SHIFT-SPACE (or clicking open Kreeder) repeatedly opens multiple Kreeder windows.
Books with lots of images, or books with multiple layouts (e.g. Any of the Dummies books with lots of callouts), will end up with text appearing in non-sequential order. Kreeder works best with plain text books (e.g. are the words only on the pages without any special blocks or formatting).
Tested on Linux and Windows and Mac

- (2020-03-28) Russell Spicer: Does not work. Did all the steps per the directions.
- (2020-01-06) Richard Denoncourt: Works great for me. They must have fixed the issues mentioned in some of the other reviews. I only wish there were more statistics, like "time to complete chapter" and "time to complete book" etc.
- (2019-02-04) Will Frazier: I'm so grateful that someone took the time and energy to create this extension! I love using the Spreed chrome extension, but had no luck getting it to function on Kindle Cloud Reader. This one does the same thing basically and now I can spreed ANY BOOK THAT'S ON KINDLE! So amazing. Thanks so much for creating this. Anyone who's having trouble getting the extension to function, just try closing the Kreeder window (if it doesn't work at first), then reload your kindle cloud reader tab (F5 on Windows, command+R on Mac), then re-open the Kreeder extension. That worked perfectly for me. Also, the default setting has 'automatically go to next page' set to OFF, so if you don't like that, it's not a malfunction, it's just the default setting. Click the button to the right of the play/back/forward buttons that looks like a 0 or capital "O," and set the 'go to next page' function to "on," and it'll continue to read, possibly with a minor delay when 'turning the page' and a line or so of repeat. Thanks again for the awesome extension. Amazon ought to buy it from you so they can incorporate this as an inner functionality of Kindle across platforms. That would be amazing...!
- (2017-12-08) Andrew Myers: Didnt work with kindle cloud reader which is its only function. Tried on 3 different books. Entirely useless
- (2017-10-27) mayank _hey: Not really helps. Jumping from one portion of text to another is really hard and it doesn't let you "slide" through words that you may have missed. If navigation was made easier, it would be really useful.
- (2017-08-27) Chris Rush: OH MY GOODNESS I love this tool. FINALLY, a way to speed-read books on my kindle! No issues for me whatsoever (August 2017), just a big THANK YOU to the developers for making this!!
- (2017-07-26) Bonnie Keck: Used to be a computer tech, and this app is USELESS, more than useless it not only did not work but it also messed up the place on a newly opened book, putting it a whole chapter up. Am currently on chromebook, but it loaded the extension which means it should be compatible but definitely was not. For kindle for pc WITH audio plugin, on windows just add {should be in there} Narrator then speakonia {free download but no longer supported} for extra voices and other tweaks. Have found NOTHING to read on the cloud reader to date, just @ReadAloud reader and Talkback on google play store for my android tablet {so should work for phones} and on chromebook just read aloud so far, still searching for voice {there are some programs on chromebook such as chromespeak and chromevox and these have NOT worked for books at ALL.
- (2017-07-14) John haag: I've been wanting an extension like Kreeder for a while!! Just didn't know it was out there. SO glad I found it. It's easy to get started with. Looking forward to digging into ALL of my Kindle books this way!!
- (2017-05-20) Hackpacking: Won't open, just "loads" forever
- (2017-05-18) Karlheinz Agsteiner: Doesn't seem to work with the Kindle Cloud reader in Germany which is lesen.amazon.de, not read.amazon.com :-(
- (2017-03-10) Godwin Samuel: Stopped working!!
- (2017-02-22) Tejas Udeshi: It is not working and I have wasted my half an hour. I wish I could give less than 1 star.
- (2017-02-13) Joshua Cazoe: Ok, so the app is great, its simple & minimalist. Would like to see if you need to change the font that you can hold down the button instead of having to click repeatedly. Also the app seems to need an update. The app recently stopped working with kindle as the text has not been loading in the extension, but he pages of the kindle app are moving in the background. Fix the please , i really love the app for getting through my heavy reading quickly. and Kreeder is LITERALLY the ONLY app available (2017) and capable to function with the Kindle Cloud Reader.
- (2016-10-31) Jennifer Guberman: Wish I could control word count, since I read in batches instead of word-by-word (which gives me a headache). Also as Leland Smith said, I'd like a pause at the end of sentences and commas.
- (2016-01-16) Leland Smith: I am really really thankful that someone has made an extension for speed reading Kindle Books. But I would love it to be better in the way that is pauses at sentences and commas. And having shortcuts would be great as well. Thanks!
- (2015-11-15) Sheree Thomson: Great extension. Only small issue is that the words per minute feels slower than actual speed when compared to Spritz. For example, if I use 400wpm on Spritz and then use the same wpm in Kreeder, kreeder is definitely slower. Not sure by how much, but that all said, its a great extension!
