OpenOffice Writer online ist eine Erweiterung, mit der Sie beliebige Microsoft Word-Dokumente sowohl im doc- als auch im docx-Format erstellen, bearbeiten und anzeigen können. Es ist ein Textverarbeitungs- und Publishing-Tool. Es ermöglicht das Erstellen großer Dokumente, Berichte und Bücher und ist einfach genug für ein schnelles Memo. Es ist ein in unseren Dateimanager integrierter Dokumenteneditor, um mit dieser Desktop-App nur DOC-, DOCX- und ODT-Dateitypen zu verwalten.
Die Hauptfunktionen von Open Office Writer sind:
- Assistenten für Standarddokumente wie Briefe, Faxe, Tagesordnungen, Protokolle oder die Durchführung komplexerer Aufgaben wie Serienbriefe. Sie können auch Ihre eigenen Vorlagen erstellen oder Vorlagen aus dem Vorlagen-Repository herunterladen.
- Erweiterte Stile und Formatierung.
- Inhaltsverzeichnis und Referenzen, um die Nützlichkeit Ihrer langen, komplexen Dokumente zu erhöhen, indem Sie ein Inhaltsverzeichnis erstellen oder Begriffe, bibliographische Referenzen, Illustrationen, Tabellen und andere Objekte indizieren.

Diese Erweiterung verwendet die Plattform http://www.offidocs.com. Es ist eine Integration mit einer Open Office Linux-Desktopanwendung. Konkret handelt es sich um eine Desktop-App, die über unsere OffiDocs-API läuft. Es ist für kostenlose Online-Benutzer verfügbar, ermöglicht aber auch die Integration mit Premium-Benutzern und lokalen OffiDocs-Bereitstellungen, bei denen der OffiDocs OpenOffice Writer installiert ist.
WICHTIG: Diese Erweiterung scannt die durchsuchten URLs, um DOC-Dateien zu erkennen. Die erkannten DOC-Dateien werden in einer Liste im Erweiterungs-Popup angezeigt, das von unseren Servern abgerufen wird. Der Scanvorgang wird von unseren Servern aus durchgeführt, sodass Ihre URL an unser System gemeldet wird. Es werden keine personenbezogenen Daten erhoben. Dieser Scan kann mit einem Kontrollkästchen deaktiviert werden, das im Erweiterungs-Popup angezeigt wird. Wenn Sie diesen Scan deaktivieren, ist diese Funktionalität nicht verfügbar, sodass die Erweiterungsfunktionalität sehr eingeschränkt ist.

- This is probably the worst document editor I have ever used. You can't even copy anything out of it to paste into another document, it won't let you save files where you want, it won't recognize printers or send to email, and it was a giant waste of my time. This is a joke. Don't install it, it will just cause you misery and pain. I wish I could give it negative stars.

- Even though I like OpenOffice a lot, this extension didn't work very well for me. I tried and tried to cut and past text into my doc, and it would not work. Not recommended.

- Excellent. This is not a version of OpenOffice, it's the real app running on a Linux machine out there somewhere. What we get is a window into that Linux machine. I find that Google Docs is just too lightweight for my needs. OpenOffice is just what I need. Now my $200 Chromebook has been elevated to a new level of functionality. Way to go Offidocs...good job.
