Maken en bewerken doc en docx-documenten met OpenOffice Writer online
OpenOffice Writer online is een extensie waarmee u alle Microsoft Word-documenten in zowel doc- als docx-indeling kunt maken, bewerken en bekijken. Het is een tekstverwerker en publicatietool. Het maakt het mogelijk om grote documenten, rapporten en boeken te maken, en eenvoudig genoeg voor een snelle memo. Het is een documenteditor die is geïntegreerd met onze bestandsbeheerder om alleen DOC-, DOCX- en ODT-bestandstypen te beheren met deze desktop-app.
De belangrijkste kenmerken van de Open Office-schrijver zijn:
- Wizards voor standaard documenten zoals brieven, faxen, agenda's, notulen, of het uitvoeren van meer complexe taken zoals mail merges. U kunt ook uw eigen sjablonen maken of sjablonen downloaden van de Sjablonenrepository.
- Geavanceerde stijlen en opmaak.
- Inhoudsopgave en verwijzingen om het nut van uw lange, complexe documenten te vergroten door een inhoudsopgave of indexering van termen, bibliografische verwijzingen, illustraties, tabellen en andere objecten te genereren.
- Tekstframes en koppelingen voor publicatietaken zoals nieuwsbrieven en flyers
- Opmerkingen en opmerkingen aan de zijkant van het document. Dit maakt aantekeningen een stuk makkelijker om te lezen.
- AutoCorrectie-woordenboek om typefouten direct op te vangen en uw spelling te controleren terwijl u typt.
- Automatisch aanvullen om typinspanningen te verminderen. Het suggereert ook veelvoorkomende woorden en zinsdelen die u kunt invullen terwijl u typt.
Deze extensie maakt gebruik van het platform http://www.offidocs.com. Het is een integratie met een Open Office Linux-desktoptoepassing. Concreet is het een desktop-app die via onze OffiDocs API draait. Het is beschikbaar voor gratis online gebruikers, maar het maakt ook de integratie mogelijk met premium gebruikers en on-premises OffiDocs-implementaties waar de OffiDocs OpenOffice Writer is geïnstalleerd.
BELANGRIJK: deze extensie scant de bezochte URL's om DOC-bestanden te detecteren. De gedetecteerde DOC-bestanden verschijnen in een lijst in de extensiepop-up die van onze servers wordt opgehaald. Het scannen wordt uitgevoerd vanaf onze servers, zodat uw URL aan ons systeem wordt gerapporteerd. Er worden geen persoonlijke gegevens verzameld. Deze scan kan worden uitgeschakeld met een selectievakje dat in de extensiepop-up verschijnt. Als u dit scannen uitschakelt, is deze functionaliteit niet beschikbaar en is de extensiefunctionaliteit dus zeer beperkt.

- This is probably the worst document editor I have ever used. You can't even copy anything out of it to paste into another document, it won't let you save files where you want, it won't recognize printers or send to email, and it was a giant waste of my time. This is a joke. Don't install it, it will just cause you misery and pain. I wish I could give it negative stars.

- Even though I like OpenOffice a lot, this extension didn't work very well for me. I tried and tried to cut and past text into my doc, and it would not work. Not recommended.

- Excellent. This is not a version of OpenOffice, it's the real app running on a Linux machine out there somewhere. What we get is a window into that Linux machine. I find that Google Docs is just too lightweight for my needs. OpenOffice is just what I need. Now my $200 Chromebook has been elevated to a new level of functionality. Way to go Offidocs...good job.
